March 2021 i-130 filers

Hello everyone, I submitted my package to the Lewisville lockbox on 02/25. It was delivered 03/02 and on 03/29, I received a text message receipt# that indicates Nebraska is processing.

Hey! Yep - all those that mailed in get an IOE number (including me!) as they upload the case to the online system. The paper receipt then states actual service center as per my understanding - which seems to differ from the online version for a lot of people! It could change at anytime it seems...

 

Has yours changed status since being received?

Hi everyone! 

congrats on getting the filing done everyone!

We filed our I-130 online on 3/27/21 and got the Receipt Notice online the next day. It says we are at the Potomac Service Center.

We’ve been married for 2 years and are living in Germany together right now

Interesting! My online and NOA1 both said Nebraska. But I think the NOA1 is the center you actually go by.

No updates yet. Still case received. Trying not to check everyday but after waiting 9 months for the I-129f k1, withdrawing, getting married, and now waiting for this, we are aching to get some progress. Being apart and being married is so hard. I know everyone is struggling with the same. 💖

I did just check with Ask Emma to see where my case is located. I got online from Nebraska, NOA1 from Nebraska, but she said it is showing at Potomac Service center. So who knows!

Yea, I understand...it's so hard. I have been checking everyday hahaha and then mine changed to 'case being actively reviewed' yesterday so I'm hoping that an officer is looking at it. I think it's at Texas but who knows haha.

Approval times are all over the place 😕

When was yours “received?  Mine was received the 18th of this month and changed to activley being reviewed the 26th

same as you.waiting 8 months for the I-129f k1, withdrawing, getting married..the funny thing is when we got married i received the NOA2 of K1.but we still withdrawing.

so my question is the we just file a form online to USCIS to withdraw the K1 and there is no response yet.How about you? How you deal with the K1 ? thank you

Ours was not approved yet so we sent a letter signed and dated to the California Service center formally withdrawing the letter. I included the receipt #, full names, and DOBs. Since yours is at NVC (I guess, since you got approved)- I would send it there. You have to do a written request I believe. Since you are married, the i-129F is no longer valid, but its a cleaner process to formally withdraw.

Yes, I mailed it on the 2nd to Phoenix and just got the IOE text to my phone. Haven't received the paper one yet.
