Thank you, and no worries. I knew it would not get approved but tried anyway. Pregnancies and the like do not really meet expedite criteria from what it seems. I do think military deployments/ PCS have priority for family reunification so that is good in that regard!! Hope the rest of your process goes fast... keep us updated on NVC! ❤️

Checking in and making sure everyone is doing okay. My process ended as we are divorcing. Was all just too much!! Happy many of you got your visas though!

These are all sites I used and got interviews from, but I ended up finding my current job on https://www.indeed.com/ by searching for "IT Jobs" and setting the location to "remote".

I-751 Timeline

1/3 Filled I-751 and Sent on 1/10

1/17 Got USCIS IOE#.Case was received and a receipt notice was sent.

1/23 Check cashed

1/26 Case Tracker update :Biometrics appointment was scheduled.

2/2 Received Bio appointment in mail and rescheduled the bio appointment online

2/6 Received  NOA and extension letter in mail

2/7 Done Bio in person and status changed to "Actively reviewed"

Thank you.. will be so happy when everyone in our group starts getting more approvals. Then onto NVC and the embassy is more waiting but still. Feels like we are one big family :)

I asked for expedite due to my Medical issues and because of the unrest in my husbands country we shall see if they allow me to send in evidence .. this is so challenging being away from him with no idea when we will be able to be living together … it’s the unknown for me that makes it so hard

Sure! One thing COVID did is revolutionize remote work! lol


One thing I might suggest is if you do go for a new job, I would start out working in the US for a month or so, and then tell them you're temporarily going overseas to visit your spouse. They are going to be much more likely to hire you initially if you start from the US. If you apply from outside, it will make it harder. I tried to apply while in Cambodia and every place said no, but after 2 weeks of being in the US I got hired. They have no problem with me going over to Cambodia as long as I have fast enough internet and don't mind working the same schedule.

I saw a case PD4/19 got approved today on Facebook nebraska SC

I really don't why different SC have such a different speed...it unfair :((((((((
