I-130 Petition PD - 21st March 2021

Service Centre - Nebraska (As per online status and NOA1 Letter)

Hey Guys, we filed the petition online on 21/03/2021 and as per the NOA1 letter & USCIS website, it is currently being processed at the Nebraska service center. So far we have not heard any update on our application yet but I have noticed a lot of people in this group & other groups who have filed their petition in March 2021 have already got their approval. So fingers crossed hopefully, we will also get some good news in next coming days/weeks. I will keep you guys posted here as soon as I get any new update on my application.

Make sure to chat with Emma to check your service center. Everything online says Nebraska for us, but Live Agent via Emma, and a phone call tells us Vermont.

@kkeys Update: Just spoke with one of the representative using live chat option on USCIS website and they told me that my case is being processed at Vermont Service Center. Current processing time for I-130 cases at Vermont SC is 30 Months to 39 Months!!!!!!! 😭

I wouldn’t get discouraged. There have been a lot of cases filed this year that have gotten approval quickly at Vermont and CA. Hang in there!

I know of a few people from Vermont filings who were approved from January.. If you click through somewhere on this website you can see cases being tracked here that are in Vermont and they have decent turnaround times according to the VJ algorhythm.

Were PD Feb 27 and in Vermont. Nothing yet but hopeful for June or July. ❤️

A VJ member just reported a Vermont approval from a February submission.  They have on their timeline, SC Vermont , PD 02/09, NOA2 05/27.   YMMV but I would not despair about USCIS's reported wait times.

Congratulations!!!!!

Just wait for USCIS to transfer your case to NVC now. Usually, it takes them 1-3 days to transfer.

Once they receive your case, they will send you an email notification which will include the checklist of all the documents that you will have to submit/upload for further processing. 😀
