I'm coming up with the 2nd conversation from USCIS and second response is completely different, not shocked just disappointed we have to wait over 2 years compared to 7 months.

Brb I'm going to my corner to cry

I have been told both of those as well. Our case is also in California. I'm not sure if they have transferred them from Nebraska, because I think the electronic receipt says Nebraska regardless. They probably just sent it straight to California.

I think everyone is placing way too much emphasis on what service center anyone says their case may or may not be in at the moment.  My NOA1 said Texas.  I got a live agent on Ask Emma and they confirmed that my case was in Texas.  @callmecs also had a NOA1 showing their case was in Texas.  Going by the published wait times and everyone saying our cases were in Texas, we should have been looking at "8 Months to 10.5 Months".  But both of our cases were approved in Nebraska at about ~49 days from when we filed them, without any indication whatsoever they had been transferred from Texas to Nebraska or that they were ever really was in Texas to begin with, or had anything to do with Texas.  @kingmoves mentioned their case was approved in only 56 days and @Adamsmith just mentioned their case was approved in 112 days, both out of California, where the published wait time is "20.5 Months to 26.5 Months".  I 'think' out of everyone in this thread that had a quick approval only @naypersonna had their case actually appear to be in Nebraska based on the NOA1, before being actually approved in Nebraska.  Everyone else’s case either had indications it wasn't at Nebraska or actually wasn't at Nebraska.  So far, in this thread, where anyone thought their case was being processed or how fast or slow that service center's published wait times are, has been a completely useless predictor of how long their case will actually take.  So don't despair if your case is at a "slow" service center, because that does not appear to be useful information.

Agree 100% with this

So its not at Potomac and they typed in incorrectly? 😕 Lol.

Found love, thought I wanted this path, two years later realized my partner was not worth all the stress 😁
