I have a question for everyone. My VisaJourney profile states: Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between June 27, 2021 and August 10, 2021*.

I have been told these estimates are quite good on VisaJourney. However, how is it possible that they expect my spouse is accepted between June-August 2021 if my NOA1 was 2/26/21 if USCIS website's current average processing time for Texas Service Center is 9-12 months? This would put our petition at estimated approval between November 2021-February 2022 which is completely different.

Am I missing something?

Hey guys, I know we're all waiting for our petitions, and the processing times are really confusing. This video really sums up how we're all feeling, I think. It's good to hear coming from an immigration lawyer:

Why do you think Texas will be the slowest?

I would recommend scrolling up a bit and watching the video that I linked about processing times and service centers. It's very relevant to what we're all going through.

Thank you for sharing!! This is so relevant and I'm going to listen to his advice. He's right about preparing the best case you can, then letting go and being patient. 💖

Found love, thought I wanted this path, two years later realized my partner was not worth all the stress 😁

I am so heartbroken.  Our online account says our case is in Nebraska.  The receipt we received by mail says Nebraska.  I decided to check with Emma today just because and it says we've been transferred to Vermont!!!! The slowest possible office!  We went from 2.5-7 months to 28-36 months!!!  This is just awful news 😢

Agreed, I really appreciated his video so I thought you all might as well since we're all in a similar spot.

To better put USCIS published wait times in perspective.   Here is a site that has cataloged the monthly changes over the last year.

https://lawandborder.com/uscis-processing-times-i-130s-for-immediate-relatives/

Notice that over the last year various centers regularly traded places for fastest or slowest.

Then go to look at actual results by visajourney members here.

Those lamenting getting sent to Vermont could take heart that among recent NOA1 to NOA2 results of visajourney members Vermont is currently the second fastest.  Not the slowest.  This time last year Vermont was cranking out i-130's in a couple of months and everyone was dreaming to get sent to Vermont.
