March 2021 i-130 filers

Hi All,

I have filed paper based I-130 petition for my spouse and it got delivered on March 15,2021 at Dallas TX lockbox. I have not received any Notice of Action on my petition nor they cashed out my mailed check. I’m worried why it’s taking that long, can someone update me?

Nothing to be worried about. Lock boxes are delayed. It’s taking some people 4-6 weeks for their checks to get cashed and get a receipt #

Will they use the priority date of I-130 petition when they actually received my petition i.e. March 15 or the one when they actually cashed out my check?

So my I-130 was delivered to the Phoenix lockbox on 2/11/2021. It was marked as “received” on the 18th of March. Check was cashed the 23rd. 
 

NOA1 receipt in mail shows the priority date as 2/11/21

Kind of frustrating how long a pure acknowledgement takes 😕

Update: a hr ago it changed from received to actively reviewed. It took 16 days from the day we send it.

Please someone help me when I check snapshot of online filled form it's says my current marriage ended it's using end date same as my previous marriage 🤯i didn't not put end date in current marriage. What should I do?

I think you should visit this page and describe what happened: https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do. Choose "Typographic Error".

 

I would also chat with an agent or call them to make sure.

Thanks. I have sent the e-request already and agent said that he/she don't anything wrong as case is still in process.

The next day I got a text that it had been received and got an electronic receipt number. Did you file the G-1145 form with your i130? The G-1145 is the form to opt into e-notifications.

I don't think we did, I should have though. I just checked my bank account today and they just cashed the check. Hopefully I'll get a receipt here soon!

I just got my mail yesterday. I sent the i130 via USPS on the 3rd of March. It was received on the 5th. So it was a month and 1 day from receiving at Phoenix to getting the mail. I got the electronic receipt on the 31st of March.

Our priority date also shows 3/5 (the date it was received at the lockbox in Phoenix). So basically the priority date should be the day that the USCIS receives the petition.
