Someone said there was 168 cases yesterday

if thats true it would be amazing if we hit that again today, but it's still pretty early out there!

We're at 72 updates so far today. Excited to see quite a bit of activity in early March, seems like they want to try and avoid having those people wait 1 year for an update. We can also see some action starting in 66000 which makes me think that they'll be working on those cases either at the end of this week or early next week.

I think that over the next 90 days or so things will get better and also becoming stable again. it's just my believe that for the last 2 years it's been a mess, and now that each day more and more things are opening up.. and more and more people are going back to their offices. I'm not saying it will be perfect, but the days of people waiting 9 to 11 months will be a thing of the past. ( jmo )

I was a little confused today on case tracker. Looks like they made an edit to move all approved cases to the top.

Perhaps, haha. I don't pay too much attention to that part of it when I count 😅

One case was “denial” in 89xxx group today. I think they are not only looking at march🤔

There tends to be random updates here and there for all ranges throughout the week. For example, you can find March cases that were approved last August although the USCIS wasn't necessarily working on March cases at that time.

I know, just i am happy for one case was gone before me😅💃🏻  I hope, there are other random cases that are getting worked on the one that we are not searching.

It was in the May forum. If you look at their chart data it looks like they also count things like RFE responses received, withdrawn, etc (anything with a “changed” status for the day). The blue March chart doesn’t count those. Only Approvals and RFEs are counted for simplicity. I think that’s why the numbers are so different

Here's the end of day changes (as a warning, I do not check for duplicate approvals and such, and so my numbers may not be as exact as others who track things more precisely):

57000 - 0 (=0)
57500 - 3 Approvals, 1 Denial (=0)
58000 - 6 Approvals (=0)
58500 - 1 RFE (=0)
59000 - 2 Approvals, 3 RFEs (+1 RFE)
59500 - 0 (=0)
60000 - 3 Approvals (=0)
60500 - 1 RFE (=0)
61000 - 1 Approval (=0)
61500 - 1 Approval (=0)
62000 - 4 Approvals, 1 RFE (=0)
62500 - 12 Approvals, 1 RFE (=0)

63000 - 4 Approvals, 1 RFE (=0)

63500 - 11 Approvals, 2 RFEs (+1 RFE)

64000 - 1 Approval (=0)

64500 - 4 Approvals, 1 RFE (+1 RFE)

65000 - 1 Approval (=0)

65500 - 5 Approvals, 3 RFEs, 1 Other (+2 RFEs)
66000 - 4 RFEs (+1 RFE)

66500 - 0 (=0)

A slower end to the day with a total of 78 (+6) updates. A bit disappointing to see us take a step backwards today after the past couple of days. Since there were so few updates between noon and now, I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of updates come through tomorrow. I am not aware of any other things happening right now that could slow down I-129F processing.

Yes, I count absolute every single status that has been changes across all cases from October 2020 up to September 2021. Thus I see when they also random cases from for example September 2021.

Reason for this is, that every time USCIS changes status of the case, means that one of their employees did something (actual work), and this is good way of estimating actual processing capacity of USCIS, if they are touching more cases, that simply means that the processing capacity is increasing and total backlog is decreasing.

Eh, kinda figured the good news couldn't last for much longer. Thank you for the update! Sad that a return to 'normal' could extend these waits into March and beyond.
