I requested to join the VJ Facebook group a week ago and it still hasn't been approved. Any suggestions on how to get that approved?

Warning: CaseTracker is duplicating cases again. Only noticed because the one adjacent to mine just got approved again. Getting very scared it was mine or someone else’s that was incorrectly inputted 😪

There is someone on FB who had duplicate approval dates and it turns out that USCIS messed up. Now it’s taking much longer for the error to be corrected as the petition was sent back to USCIS by NVC. Hopefully that is not the case for anyone else.

Can you expand on this a little? What does it mean to have duplicate approval dates and why would it cause an approved case to be sent back to uscis??? That’s terrifying!

She said that she was informed that the officer who reviewed/approved her case did not sign off on some areas and didn’t apply a required stamp or something to that extent. Basically, it was a USCIS error that they need to correct and now that is causing additional delays for her.

Before she found this out, she had two different approval dates. Not sure how or why, though.

To clarify this, it wasn't necessarily the double-approval that caused the issue, but rather the case worker that messed up. I don't believe it's indicative that every double-approval has this issue.

Today we are at 130 (+46) Interesting to have some colors in the app that showed up as blue (what I consider as "other", but are actually RFEs). Today I've seen a couple of new statuses that I haven't seen before: "Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction" and "Request for Initial and Additional Evidence Was Mailed".

The unbelievable number from yesterday is still holding today. We're chugging along now everyone! :D

Thank you for the update! Just a quick caution, I think your number actually comes out correct because there were a few very late March filers with approvals, but the app double-counted the 645 group. Unless something literally updated within the last 20 minutes (which would be interesting to note, as this would mean they're working overtime again), I think there's only 6 new updates in that group (plus the one 'other'). Not sure what happened with the other groups, but I think there was a suggestion there was double-counting there as well. Regardless, I verified some of the 86 cases done earlier in the day and almost 100% of them seemed legit, so I definitely expect the final tally to be 120+.

Thank you for your hard work! It looks like the new swath being considered is most certainly 625-655. It is also really nice to see early-March still get love, though I feel so sad for those that are left behind in categories where they're virtually the only ones left.

Still, 260 cases done between yesterday and today is incredible. If we hit 700 done by the end of this week that'll be extraordinary. Interesting about that too, is that 400+ more approvals by week's end would clear out 570-655, it seems. Either we'll see massive, massive reductions in the unopened cases in the current groups, or end of March will have their day in the sun quite shortly. 645 remains one of our largest groups, though, and they've yet to be hit as strong as the others, so I think we're still yet to see their big dump.

Yeah. I don't take note of which numbers are approved on which days, so I just check the dates and such and count those. I'm really hopeful that the numbers will stay high or keep increasing! I don't want people to have to wait as long as I did (or longer in the case of a lot more people who are still waiting). The wait is unbearable.

I started every week by saying, "I can't wait to get our approval next week!"

Looking at your timeline, is your NOA1 in March or in April? Your dates seem a bit conflicting (unless they are correct and you are referring to how long you've been waiting since you sent your case in).

My case says received Mar 22nd (case tracker and on the NOA-1) the NOA-1 form was sent to me on April 12th
