I'm so happy, it's been a while since we saw numbers like this!!!

But I have a question, does anyone know how many k1 cases of each month?

If we do, we can have an idea how long each month takes to be finished. (If they kept processing in this speed)

Still open NOA1 per month (USICS didnt do anything to the case) you can see it here

I run 5 of those groups and there was no change in any of them. USCIS is not yet fully processing them.

Yes, when I saw that, I thought, it was some error, and then checked those cases individually, they are real cases that are for some reason left open.

Are they WAC cases though? I think the heavy criminal background cases get transferred to Vermont service center which takes almost twice as long to get NOA2.

Those sections will be included as more activity happens in them, but for now there's very rarely a change in them and so I am not including them in my updates.

You can see that I've started including 64000 and 64500 as movement has started to occur in that range, and I'll move it as they push further into March :)

Yes all of them are WAC. What ever is going on there, I hope they get processed soon. I dread such faith, literally stuck in limbo.

Hope they get the approval soon. Those are real fighters to keep holding on that long!

Someone in one of the groups I am in on Facebook mentioned being 700 days from getting their NOA1 and withdrawing it to get married and do the marriage visa. They mentioned complicated background checks being the reason for it being held.

What would make a background check complicated for USCIS?

Personally, my profession involves some due diligence and the worse are names of people that are match to "sanctioned individuals", but the actual sanctioned individual does not have vital information available (i.e. a known or suspect terrorist or criminal, with fairly common name in the country of origin, but to which the date of birth or country of birth is not known - those are nightmares).

My personal concern concern is that I have a country of birth that I left as a child, a country of residence for most of my life, and a third country I'm living for a few years now due to professional reasons - if they have to check me in the three countries, that would delay my case further.

So they do the back ground checks during this stage, I wonder if the beneficiary country doesn't have a US embassy, how do they communicate with the country. I'm from Syria and as you know we have no US embassy. So I filed through Lebanon. I'm afraid I might be one of those stuck cases in the future 😕
