Thank you for time-stamping this!

Just wanted to thank everyone here for keeping the faith and supporting one another as we approach the final stages at USCIS. Thank you @J&D1008 for notifying us of the livestream today; there's no doubt that, if it wasn't for you, we wouldn't have been able to submit questions and attract the attention we did. Thanks as well to all those making petitions and spreading the word. While it is pure coincidence, it's most certainly symbolic that many active VJ members (and Facebook posters) got their NOA2 today - and I don't want to jinx anything, but the numbers I've overheard are really, really phenomenal (particularly for mid-March). Thank you in advance to the members of our various ChartTeams^tm, who I know will be furiously inputting data later this evening.

Go team!

Thank you all, I appreciate the dedication this group has!

Decided to put in a second inquiry and this was the response that I received today. My first response back in November just was the generic, sorry we can't give you a timeframe.

My NOA1 is March 8th.

Just got an RFE today. While I'm bummed by the RFE I am happy for some news, and it didn't take 45 days!! I'm in the 60000 range and again, March 8 for NOA1.

Best wishes to everyone!! 🙏

Congratulations! It's great to see one of the active members here get their approval :) I'm hopeful that they'll get through most of us this month, if only so that I don't go insane, haha.

Thank you!! It has been such a heart wrenching process and it feels so surreal now. Your time is coming soon!!!

It’s coming for sure!! And yes, some movement is better than no movement at all. I was at that point where I was hoping for at least an RFE because I hated hearing nothing, but finally heard back and got the approval today. Here’s to hoping that you are able to respond to the RFE quickly and that you hear back soon after. 🙏

Alright, here's the post-closing numbers for today (as always, difference from this afternoon is in the parenthesis) --

57000 - Approval (+1 Approval)
57500 - 1 Other, 1 RFE (+1 Other)
58000 - 1 Approval, 2 RFE (+1 Approval, +1 RFE)
58500 - 2 Approvals (+2 Approvals)
59000 - 1 Approval (+1 Approval)
59500 - 1 Approval, Denial (+1 Approval)
60000 - 4 Approvals, 2 RFEs (+2 Approvals)
60500 - 1 Approval (+1 Approval)
61000 - 8 Approvals, RFEs (+7 Approvals, +2 RFEs)
61500 - 1 Approval, 1 RFE (=0)
62000 - 3 Approvals, 5 RFEs (+2 Approvals, +3 RFEs)
62500 - 3 Approvals, 7 RFEs (+1 Approval)

63000 - 2 Approvals, 1 RFE, 1 Other (=0)
63500 - 4 Approvals (=0)

I added 63000 and 63500 since they had activity earlier today. Total we're sitting at 59 updates today! This is definitely on the upper end of what we usually have in a day.

Hopefully this paints a good picture for those of us waiting in March still!

I just got approved today after an RFE

I actually felt exactly like you and was happy to have some kind of activity, even though it was a bummer too. My letter arrived just a few days after the notification. They said I was missing pages of my divorce decree so I resent it to them. It was delivered last Monday and they updated my status to ‘info received’ the next night. The approval today comes about a week later.

I think the entire thing probably added on a few extra weeks in total, but it wasn’t too bad. Hopefully, yours is quick and easy too! Good luck!

Congratulations!! 🥳 And wow, that is fantastic! Thank you so much for sharing that, I was definitely curious what the time may look like for a response. I know each case is different but gives me some optimisim for this step.

I will pray to have a similar outcome! Wishing you all the best in the next stage of the process!

Thank you so much! They said I was missing pages in my divorce decree. I just resent it to them and they were fine with it. It was a bit of a pain, but really not as big of a deal as I thought it would be.

Thank you @slavaskii I do appreciate the shoutout! Being at NVC for 6 months now has not been the easiest but we are a community and I will continue to keep everyone informed. Thank you as well for your efforts in all the discussion forums. It does not go unnoticed :)

Wow being at NVC for 6 months sounds so upsetting, you'd think it would be smooth sailing once we get our NOA2 seeing as we've waited 10+ months.

Question: does NVC waiting times vary with a petitioner's country? Or is it just a standard backlog regardless of where you're from in the world?

God I just hope this moves fast for all of us because this is just upsetting being away from someone you love :(
