Hey congratulations! Did ombudsman ended up contacting USCIS ? If so how many days did it take after that ?

Ombudsman didn't send me a final response yet, but they've been working on my inquiry since the middle of December, my guess is they reached out on my behalf which lead to this approval.

Can you copy paste your exact response? Mine was :petition is assigned to an officer and under active review. While we are unable to project a specific date a decision will be rendered in your case, newcorrespondence can be expected shortly.

The response I got from the inquiry I submitted online was:

"Thank you for your inquiry. We recognize your interest in the final adjudication of your pending application/petition and are aware of the difficulties caused by any delay in processing. We regret we are not able to give you a timeframe for when we will review your case but the California Service Center is committed to processing this workload. We will be making every effort to adjudicate your case in the most efficient manner based on our available resources. We appreciate your patience and understanding."

I have not gotten a response from my ombudsman inquiry I submitted on 1/10/22, however I called today and was told that ombudsman has not reviewed the inquiry yet it is still in the log to be acted on.

Thanks for sharing this. I guess we will just have to wait a little longer may be a week. Cases around us are getting approved we could be any day now.

The T2 rep I spoke with on 12/28/21 said that it should be within the next 30-45 days, so I am hoping and praying! Best of luck to you :)

That looks like the exact same response we got. Congratulations on the NOA2 approval. This process is making it feel like everyone does deserve some congratulations after moving on every step!

They respond back in 2-10 days depending on the congressional office. Once they send Inquiry to USCIS,  1 week tops they(uscis)  will research your case and respond to you (or your congresswoman ). Good luck

They sent me an email when I sent in the immigration assistance form, the there was a 3-4 week delay and that was before the holidays. Still haven't heard back.
