Hi all! Really excited with the movement we’re seeing! The case right next to mine was approved today!

I sent in another Outside Processing Times case inquiry last week and got this email back today. Any thoughts on what this means? I saw on others that they were given a timeline (ie 45 days).

On 01/11/2022, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I-129F to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Your case is currently being adjudicated. You will receive a notice of action*.

*A notice of action may be in a form of Approval Notice, Denial Notice, Transfer Notice , Request for Evidence, or Notice of Intent to Deny.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.

——

I received a response with the same message on January 3 and have yet to have any action on my case. Seeing action around your case is exciting, though! It could bode well for you. I feel like my case was lost in someone's car along with a few others around it, haha.

Hope you see some movement on your case soon!

Looks like 55 filers processed today; pretty good, means our average is right around 60 for this week! That, of course, doesn't include February files or others - petitioning @DSBeijing to run his fancy chart for us, again, to determine that number :)

Also happy news! Today marks 1,000 March cases looked at 🥳 Thanks to the chart CJ and others put together, only 69% of March hasn't been touched yet, which seems almost unbelievable considering how long that number wasn't budging. Looks like the current 'batch' up for grabs is the 600x - 645x category; today was the first day another group actually beat out the 600x group for amount of cases processed (600x was the biggest group in March by far with over 300 petitions - March 8 actually spans 3 separate groups in the chart). Looks like they're moving on down the line, appears nearly every group from 570x - 645x got at least something today.

Does anyone know if USCIS' work-from-home precaution ended? I recall hearing they were adjudicating from home but something definitely picked up this week. In any case, I pray things will only get better from here on out, as February cases keep dripping down lower and lower and getting 100+ March done a day will be wonderful news. Good luck everyone! Hope to see you all tomorrow with good news.

Means a lot to me! I try to make them fun, and hey, in a way it is. March filers built up such a strong community through this, so every approval we see is another friend we made along the way getting good news.

Before-noon report is looking good! I would estimate over 30 approvals/RFEs thus far. Clear, clear movement into mid-March. 9 approvals in the 610x group, already beating out the 600x. We also have some in the 615x. 3 in the 620x. 620x is our last "big" group until the 645x filers, though the ones in-between have probably an average of 120 people waiting each. Let's keep the faith going everyone!

We should do a March filers meet up with us and all of our significant others to celebrate making it through this lol

USCIS needs to award March Filers as the most patient filers of the century ...

Our approval is the only that has taken over 4 months and yet it's still not finished ....

Also wanted to just come back to report even better news. I finally looked in the 570x upwards groups and, shockingly, just saw 16 updates in 575x and 22 in 580x. Below 600x alone I think we have at least 40 updates today already. Great to see!

Thank you so much! Yes, lots of approvals there too; they tend to take a break in the mid-afternoon before more get dumped later, so I don't really expect much else for a little while. But yeah, adding those with the ones I know of already, we're over 52 iirc. Something has to have changed :)

I also randomly checked this because our case falls in the 575x range and was shocked to see so many approvals there today. However, after going through some of the case numbers, I noticed that our case was actually one of those that claim to have been approved today even though we already got our NOA2 on Jan 4...I wonder how many of those are actually new approvals or if they're like ours

Interesting, are you sure it's the exact WAC number? Did you get an RFE or anything before, and do you have NOA2 in-hand? That's really strange, but I still believe the case tracker is "generally" correct because we've seen other filers get approved real-time, so there doesn't seem to be much of a delay or anything. Plus it aligns perfectly with our estimates of where we know they're working... regardless, if you got the approval before it updated, then perhaps there's less cases open then we thought. It is very suspicious to me that there's 40+ cases still open in one January category, for instance; while we know some of them are still waiting, that's an oddly high amount.

Thanks for letting us know!

Thanks for letting us know!

I believe this same thing was happening with Jan filers who were approved back in august. A couple of people had double approvals. I can’t remember which one they had on the NOA-2 but it happened
