im in the 64000 group and i have been told our case was assigned to an adjudicator on 11/23/21, how long does it normally take to process once it's been assigned?

Oh geez. That's quite an unusually long time... it should be relatively quick. I was told today on the phone mine wasn't assigned yet, and the inquiry that came through an hour later confirmed that. I think the March 18th filer was told only last week theirs was assigned. Things are just a mess right now

Edit: I almost doubt they were telling the truth in November because barely any March were approved then. And yes, I'm using CaseTracker + being in the Facebook group + also being friends with that exact March 18th filer by chance hahaha

I just updated the chart. Case tracker showed 16 approvals and 8 RFEs today in the March chart. All falling in ranges 57500-61000 which mostly corresponds with March 1-9.

I just downloaded case tracker! Can you tell me how to search on the app?  I keep getting an error message!

Please keep us updated! How did you manage to get the Tier 2 rep btw? I call them quite often but have always gotten a very quick 'no update' response, and I just find that a bit unbelievable considering they're also telling me they can only see what I can see. So, like... I can also see from my screen there has been no movement since NOA1, but that doesn't correlate to the fact it wasn't assigned to an officer?

So for CaseTracker, in the top left search bar, enter your full WAC number but change the final five digits to any March case. I.e., March cases start in the 57000s, so enter the full WAC and change it to "...57000" and search for 500 cases (the maximum). You can then sort by each individual petition to see the progress made and when it was made. Each increment of 500 is essentially going up by another day or two in March. They're currently working *very* hard on the 60000 group, which roughly corresponds to March 8th.

I just call the contact center and request to be placed in the que to speak to tier two, they really can see more information than tier one who answers the calls at the contact center.  I do not even talk to them anymore, they have to place you in the que to speak to a higher agent if you request that! usually takes 2-3 weeks for them to call you back

Thank you for that! And they’re fine with letting you get that call back from Tier 2, they don’t tell you that you’re not eligible or something? I always figured that was reserved for ‘special’ people lol.

And sorry to verify, but was it Tier 1 or Tier 2 who told you about the November assignment? Do we really know how much the Tier 1 can see? It seems to me like it’s almost a daily inquiry you can make, they’ve told me both (a) they see nothing more than I do AND (b) they can see movement on cases (I.e., more than I can).

Tier two is who told me it had been assigned! I know that tier two can see more they have access to the service centers notes where are tier one can only see the updates that we can see! They do not tell me I’m not eligible, I just say I want to speak to tier two and they place me in the que! I have done this close to 10 times now

Wonderful! I will call them in the morning and ask to be placed with Tier 2. I just commented this in the April thread, but I compared the response to my inquiry this time with the one I got last month and it was somehow worse. Of course you can't read into these in any way, shape, or form, but I do really need to talk to someone about this, I haven't gotten one good verbal or written response on my case.

Interesting to note, as well, that they put you in a queue that lasts 2-3 weeks. A March filer called today and was given a number and a callback window of 3 days.

So if your inquiry qualifies as urgent they will call you back with 72 hours! If not, then it’s within 30 days

Thanks! I just called now and got a lot of super helpful clarification, and also put in the Tier 2 request. That email was just sent to me as well - had my fiancee's name on the top, how romantic! 😂 So that's good I can get a call, though I was told to wait upwards of 30 days as well.

I guess to put the final nail in the coffin - the Tier 1 operators on the phone do not see anything more than we do. They have an 'overall' view of our case and can see various requests, but they cannot see if/when the case was assigned to an officer for adjudication. That's the job of Tier 2, or Tier 1 if they submit a request for more information. Thank you again for alerting me of this!
