So 53 approvals approximately a day but only 1-15 in March

Yes.

That's my concern....are you guys sure it's upto 50 approval daily...because I feel they do less than 10 daily  in total

In no way am I calling this efficient, it's just that the whole situation is so incredibly sad that I'm forced to find positivity from somewhere. At least, processing around 45 cases a day shows that the I-129F staff does exist, it's just that they're not working on March cases and haven't been for months.

Does anyone know why they aren’t working on K1s?

I mean, everything and the kitchen sink has been floated around. Veterans of the forum have pointed out that I-129F processing does fluctuate and is no stranger to taking a year to complete, but I just think it's really, really low priority right now. USCIS has a lot of stuff on their plate and we're, unfortunately, not seen as that important. My only concern is that it's never been this bad; right now nobody's had to wait a year, but looking at the numbers, it's only obvious that processing 16 March cases a day is going to really mess everything up. There's 3,000 of us left, the math is simple.

May 2021 filers will be probably in waiting range of 11-12 Months if this processing rate continues.(I am sadly may filer)

Sadly due to low priority of K1, the processing times will be even worse. Lets hope they fixit it soon

I mean we're all mostly in 10 months already, next month we'll be 11 and the month after will be a full year plus a month or more for NVC then another however long at each of our embassies! Not counting if omicron shuts things down again! I hate being negative like this but I've never been in a situation like this and it's frustrating! At least we have each other and the occasional one that gets approved I'm happy for them!

let's be patient, celebrate each other, and stay positive. You've made it this far already!

Really you are saying there's nothing we can do, and thats the funny part

I am tired of catching flights this often, thought I could have my fiancee in the US for Christmas. Now we have a new born baby with a fresh US passport before she is even approved. K1 is faster hahahhaha

I've accepted staying in Albania for the summer, beaches are beautiful so it's not too bad.

I would recommend the lot of you meet as often as possible, can't imagine not seeing each other for over a year. Albania isn't a bad meeting place either...

New point: some March filers who got approved called NVC and were told they’ll be closed until February due to “weather”. Does anyone know more/can confirm?

Major Snowstorm in the Northeast. NVC located in New Hampshire so im guessing they got hit with snow/ power outages as well.

Tuesday of this month, correct?

Ah, I always thought NVC was DC for some reason; I know they've had a very light snowfall this year so I was a bit confused. But in no way would they be closed for a full month over isolated storms, presumably? Our poster here just said they said wait until Tuesday, but I know of now 2 March filers who have gotten the February response. Weird.

Agh. I’m 3/3 and could have gotten my petition in a few weeks before I actually did. I took my time completing it and didn’t think a few weeks would make much of a difference. I also didn’t spend the extra few bucks to expedite shipping. Turns out those few weeks and spending the extra couple of dollars probably would have made a HUGE difference.

I feel like everything is just barely hanging on and at any second things will be shut down again. If that happens I’ll really be wishing I could go back in time and get things there in February instead of March.

Oh well, I guess it is what it is! We’ve made it almost 7 years without living on the same continent, what’s another 1, 2, 7 years, right? 😅

Same here lol almost 7 years! It's nice to see long term relationships (which is hard enough) and people working so hard and determine to be together.

That being said, maybe that's why I feel this process felt even longer than it is since we've been waiting for this lol

If only, IF ONLY, we knew how different the time process is, we would all have applied wayyy before, especially for couple that was together for this long XD
