Agreed, I haven’t seen my fiancé since December 2020 it’s been over a year now. It’s so hard. I just wish we all hear back soon from the USCIS and be able to hug our loved ones again

3rd January 2020 was last time I saw my fiance.

And since i work and live in China, i wont be able to se her untill we get approved, since china requires 3 Week quarantine when entering the country from abroad (I have 22 days of vacation per year, she has 25 days in US), so it makes visits impossible, since we would literally see each other 1-2 days and i would have to go back to China immediately, and since i am not Chinese Citizen i would have to pray that i don't have any issues when entering back to China (many colleges had issues).

And uscis wait times are getting worse and worse. We will probably see each other in second half of 2022, since processing is grounded to halt

I'm in the same boat too, my fiance is going to have to wait also to work and I'm hoping that we're luckier with the EAD then we have been with the K1

EAD/AP is taking around 8 months.  K-1 is not the visa of choice if that is a consideration, unfortunately.

Somehow on a slow day today, we finally got our approval and let me tell you the feeling is unreal after such a long wait!😄 It will be so worth it when every one of you sees the good news and hopefully it will be soon!

Yay, congratulations!!

Ya but it's not like I have much other choice the k-3 if now taking just as long as the k-1 soooo not much difference there. I mean ya she'll be able to work on arrival, which if great, but the fiancée Visa was supposed to be the route for quickness.

Man, I feel your frustration here big time. Last time my fiancé and I saw each other was May 2020. She's in Japan, and Japan has since had its borders closed to Americans, making it impossible for me to visit her. Quarantine requirements also make it impossible for her to have enough vacation time to visit here. With new variants continuing to delay Japan's reopening, we are on the edge of our seat for that NOA2 being our only renewal of hope at this point. It's been so so long.

Hello Everybody, March 5, 2021 NOA1 here.

Dec. 19, 2021, I filed the 1st inquiry for "Outside Normal Processing Times", and got back:

"Thank you for your request:
USCIS will review and process the request.
Your request ID number is XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
"

Jan. 3, 2022, I received the inquiry response:

"The status of this service request is:

On 12/19/2021, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I-129F to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved:

We regret we are unable to provide you with a specific completion date at this time.  Your case is currently with an officer for adjudication. You should receive a notice of action* within 45 business days.

*A notice of action may be in the form of an Approval Notice, Denial Notice, Transfer Notice, Request for Evidence, or Notice of Intent to Deny.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.
"

So at least they gave me a range of 45 business days for notice of action?

45 business days takes it to Mar. 8, 2022, including MLK Day and President's Day holidays, which will be over 1 year wait for NOA2? Don't know if this helps anyone with expectations?

I also got a response with a 45 day timeframe. My NOA1 date is 3/8/2021.

"The status of this service request is:

On 12/30/2021, you contacted USCIS concerning your I-129F to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Your case is currently being adjudicated. You should receive a notice of action* within 45 days.

*A notice of action may be in a form of Approval Notice, Denial Notice, Transfer Notice, Request for Evidence, or Notice of Intent to Deny.

We hope this information is helpful to you."

My fiancé is also in Japan. Hoping for a swift resolution for both of us since it seems like the only way we’ll be able to reunite with our loved ones 😣

Yes, sent the inquiry 12/30 and received the response today. The confirmation did not state when I would hear back by:

"Thank you for your request:
USCIS will review and process the request.
Your request ID number is SR1X"

At least you all got some sort of timeframe. I just got a generic one (below) saying it was being adjudicated but unable to project a date. 😂 Not sure how long after receiving this particular message people actually get a response, if any.

According to our records, your Form I-129F petition is assigned to an officer and under active review. While we are unable to project a specific date a decision will be rendered in your case, new correspondence can be expected shortly.
