Usually, if it's currently with an officer, it will be adjudicated fairly quickly; most people with your inquiry response got an update shortly thereafter, and the number was either 30, 45, or 90 days. It appears to be random. But nonetheless, that puts it squarely within the 10-12 months I've believed these are takin

Ok there were just 10 cases touched today. HOW is this possible? At this rate it will take another half a year to get through March. HOW AND WHY???!!! I seriously feel sick.

I too just got a response to my second inquiry. My NOA1 date is March 4th. I'm heartbroken because it seems like after over 10 months, they still didn't even look at my case yet.

Here's the generic response that I got.

On 12/20/2021, you or your representative contacted U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) about your I-129F because you believe your case is outside normal processing times. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Thank you for your inquiry. We recognize your interest in the final adjudication of your pending application/petition and are aware of the difficulties caused by any delay in processing. We regret we are not able to give you a timeframe for when we will review your case but the California Service Center is committed to processing this workload. We will be making every effort to adjudicate your case in the most efficient manner based on our available resources. We appreciate your patience and understanding."

I got that response to my first inquiry through the website! Honestly I don't understand what's happening there.

I honestly can’t even begin to explain it. Nothing short of an absolute catastrophe.

I am also a March 4th NOA1 person here, received this response from my request:

On 12/21/2021, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your Form I-129F to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Your case is currently being adjudicated. We will mail you a notice of action* when we make a decision.

*A notice of action may be in a form of Approval Notice, Denial Notice, Transfer Notice, Request for Evidence, or Notice of Intent to Deny.

Hope we get some movement on our cases soon!

Well that's hopeful!

Slowly I am starting to lose hope regarding Legal Immigration process in US.

One of my former co-workers, moved back home to Germany after we submitted K1 (May 2021) application.

He (German citizen) and his fiance(Chinese), were finished in less than 4 months with their process for her to emigrate to Germany, she also got work permit and everything done in less than 4 months ?!?!?  And all that in mids of Covid!

It was like gut punch for me. How the h*ll is USCIS so slow. My fiance and I are literally clear case as it gets, same age, 4 years of relationship, lived together for 1 year, first marriage for both of us. only due to covid we didn't managed to get married in 2019.

Now our life is literally on hold.

So disappointed in US immigration system. There is literally 0 excuse for this waiting period.

I’m so sorry. I’m in the same exact situation and it’s making me so upset. I can relate 100% to you! I feel like our lives are on hold too. My fiancé and I are just finishing grad school and I feel awful that he has to wait to find a job once he gets here. The waiting never ends and I’m just so hopeless right now.

I mean, it's more than likely the real culprit for the slowdown was the massive inpouring of the Afghan SIV visas that continue to maintain top adjudication priority. The problem is that, if the delays keep being blamed on COVID, that masks the real problem of I-129Fs not having enough people assigned to them - which has nothing to do with the pandemic. We really got royally shafted here, it seems. Is there anything March filers can collectively do as a group? It's not like only one or two of us is outside normal processing, and only 10 cases being actioned per day is going to extend this process indefinitely.

Very true. I am just very annoyed that USCIS is self funded agency only being funded by fees it collects form applications.

I understand that Afganis have difficulties now(i my self lived trouugh war in 1990), but we literally paid for them to process our cases.

If administration wants to do something else with USCIS staff, please do, but at same time please fund the agency and dont #### rest of the people.

Also please allow premium processing for K1, and put it 3* normal fees, because there are people that can afford it, this would bring additional capital for USCIS and would speed up processing for everyone not only for premium.

Uscis needs to do more in attending to the March filers , consoling my fiancee everyday while she cries to see me and the pains of seeing her feel this way breaks me down and for the fact that we don't even have a chance to know how soon we are going to be attended to worsen the situation, march 26th filer here ...I hope we can collectively lend out our voices and be heard..the wait is frustrating, we had to make 2 trips last year to be with each other in uae .. USCIS please do something

Won't happen until they get through the filers from previous months.

FYI, I know it won’t do anything, but maybe if enough people who are struggling through this process and lack of transparency and accountability reach out, they’ll maybe acknowledge it at some point. Even if it’s for future filers. Couldn’t hurt I suppose. Can’t reach out about your case, but since they’re “interested in hearing” feedback…

Below is from the USCIS website:

The Public Engagement Division is always interested in hearing from you. Please email us at public.engagement@uscis.dhs.gov to provide feedback on any of our engagements, areas of concern or requests for additional information. Please do not email case-specific questions as this office is unable to provide specific answers or resolve issues.

This is cool and a very good way to go...it's a very difficult moments for filers in their respective relationship if they are subjected to a long wait like this... consoling each other will only be a Lil way to address the distance caused by the long wait..I can't just express how much I've missed her and it's really a tough time for everyone..I appeal to USCIS to attend to cases with over normal processing time , the wait is really a struggle .

This is so unfair, why is the reason they are doing this? Like they have no excuses for working in k1 applications! And the worst is that they don't tell the truth or give any kind of notice.

I got the same notice yesterday I’m March 5. We didn’t get a range of days for noa so does that mean it should be soon? Does anyone know?
