What I don't understand is how in my group range that is the last from March the 69500 are two approvals already ? My date is March 30th

i'm in the same group as an April 1st filer. those approvals happened in like August or September i think. it was strange...in August/September they approved around 100 April petitions. i think they were trying to keep the processing times down on the USCIS site honestly.

If the previous months are any guide, once they make headway on a month, anywhere inside is fair game (that is, in two weeks probably everyone in March could reasonably expect an approval, unless they go through day by day). Randomly some others had gotten approvals previously, many months ago. These were most likely expedites but could’ve also been simply random; no way to know, but rest assured they didn’t skip over yours. Protocol is to technically go in order of received.

So from being on this site, i realized USCIS goes in no particular order although they should. Most of those random approvals were just that random and not expedite. They did it to November 2020 filers, approving about 300 of them in one batch after 4 months of filing. Of course most were puzzled because at the time they were only up to July 2020 filers but nonetheless they were approving November filers. They then stopped and focused on the current months in order while still approving at low rates November filers. Then when it came to November, although they processed those ones earlier, they skipped like 2 whole dates, i recall one was November 2 because many were complaining that date was entirely skipped. Then again, someone picked up April 2021 while they were working December 2020 approvals and started approving. Its all completely random, probably trying to stay within processing times. Someone mentioned on FB a couple July 2021 filers from one batch had been approved. So again random. I think what caused the slowdown is the vaccine mandate coupled with already low staffing at USCIS and now we are approaching the holiday season.

So I got a inquire response today even tho the expected response was suppose to be on the 19th of Dec  anyways this was the response I received seems generic but you guys can let me know “ According to our records, your Form I-129F petition is pending further review. While we are unable to project a specific date a decision will be rendered in your case, new correspondence can be expected shortly.” Has anyone received this response ?

I received the same response. I’m still trying to wrap my head around what it means.

That's upsetting 😕 It's sad that the estimated time it takes when you file can be so much less than what it ends up taking. I understand that not all cases are equal and some will understandably be dealt with before others, but it would be helpful if there was a little more consistency. I've always said that could be achieved if the procedure for I-129F was much more streamlined; I reckon a lot of packets come through with huge reams of call logs that aren't all that necessary but still obligatory for the officer to process, and it just bogs down the whole procedure. Also - why is there no online filing for the K1? That would easily cut down a ton of time. It feels like a very antiquated process and I wouldn't be surprised if it gets changed dramatically.

Anyway, I just ran the numbers, and we had 20 approvals from 575xx - 580xx, 5 approvals from 580xx to 585xx, 2 from 590xx to 595xx; I didn't see any beyond that from my cursory search. More and more March every day. Unfortunately, even if we were to get to 50 approvals by tomorrow, there's less than 10 working days in December... 10 x 50, only 500 of us 3400. :( Looks like January will be the month for the vast majority of us, maybe even February, although, at least it is comforting to think the end is near. Here's hoping the next stage isn't as difficult.

It looks like for March there were 109 approvals since last Friday. Hopefully USCIS picks up the pace before Christmas!

Yes - the pace is quite certainly picking up! That's a pretty hefty chunk of March filers, too. Unfortunately, there's whole lot of us - but we won't be deterred! :) March has enough people for two months it appears, it shocks me that on one day they seem to have gotten 300 I-129Fs. Maybe the wait won't be all that noticeable at the end of the day, NVC still has work to do clearing people out, and embassies that are taking interviews are (hopefully) getting faster. It's getting really exciting now!

Just curious, where are you getting that there are less than 10 working days left?

I believe they're closed Christmas Eve (24, Friday), but I'm unsure if they're closed through January 1st. I've heard they are, but that might've been a misunderstanding somewhere. Can anyone clarify?
