Wow we're quiet here. Is morale that low? I bring good tidings from the Facebook group: many March approvals today, including one from March 15th (which personally makes me happy to see!). Outstanding February cases are quite low and it does definitively seem like they've moved on to our little group. I've learned not to make predictions here, but it's a wonderful thing seeing March approvals again.

I'm kinda upset I saw a person from March 15th who was approved and a person from July 7th (?????) feels like our approval day never comes

Hello Everyone!

My received date is March 8th and I have yet to hear anything. However, I had to update my name in May so
I am not sure if that changes anything. However, I  called and asked and they said it should not really delay it. Anyone else here is early March?

My Noa1 date is March 4th, still waiting as well.

oh okay! I am so worried. I had a friend who send a inquiry about outstanding processing time and she got her case moved up and approved. Her NOA1 is March 17. However, when I sent it, they gave me the generic response, so I don't know what is happening!

No problem! Yes, I sent the inquiry on October 26 and was told to expect a reply by November 17. I received their reply on November 4.

They responded today....😏

"Thank you for your inquiry. We recognize your interest in the final adjudication of your pending application/petition and are aware of the difficulties caused by any delay in processing. We regret we are not able to give you a timeframe for when we will review your case but the California Service Center is committed to processing this workload. We will be making every effort to adjudicate your case in the most efficient manner based on our available resources. We appreciate your patience and understanding"

Ugh, yeah that's the same response I got.

Hi, how and why did you update your name? the reason i ask …. i need to update 2 fields on beneficiary address. address is not wrong, just incomplete. i would feel better if i can get it updated. i am also worried if the update will slow the approval.

Updating a name is necessary so I would do so right away, regardless of qualms about a potential delay. Technically, there shouldn't be a delay for changing names or addresses, but I'm personally waiting to change my address with USCIS because a) I still have family at the old one and b) I don't want to risk anything so close to NOA2. My plan is to wait for NOA2 to physically arrive at my old address, and then change it online when the packet's being sent over to Warsaw (if anyone has thoughts on that, be more than happy to hear).

There was a poster here a while back who reported a massive delay when changing his address; that's probably grounds for an expedite, but honestly the way things are going, I don't want to take a chance. I also submitted an inquiry and got the same generic response so I know they're working hard on March now, but who knows what such a request would do.

Edit: Also, woohoo for the March 17th approval! We really are all over the place now. At least, that means the box with my packet in it has been dusted off somewhere :)

Noa 1 is March 16th

I submitted an inquiry on November 17th and was told I’d get my generic response by Dec 9th.

I got this today still generic but at least has the word pending 🙂

The status of this service request is:

On 11/17/2021, you contacted USCIS concerning your I-129F to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Our records show that your I-129F is currently pending adjudication. We regret that we are unable to provide you with a completion date at this time. We apologize for the delay.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.

The magic words! Congrats!

Does anyone know how often you may submit an inquiry? I was told you can continue submitting them after you get your first update, but I also vaguely recall reading somewhere you may only inquire twice. I'm having my Rep inquire as well (if I can get a response from them), so I'm unsure if I should manually ask again.
