I just talked to the Live Chat regarding my case, and this is the information given:

 

Your application is pending at this time.

We generally process cases in the order we receive them.

The USCIS Check Case Processing Times web page (egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/)

shows estimates of how long each office is taking to process different types of cases.

Sadly we are not gonna be able to hear from them until December 21 or within. My lawyer sent and inquiry this morning. Please keep us updated we are in same received date:)

Submitted an inquiry on the 16th and have yet to receive a response. Will update here as well when I get some notification, though I'm confused why USCIS didn't reset the inquiry date and allowed it to get all the way into April...

The screen will light up with fireworks and pop-ups and the computer will blue screen before you're ever able to take a screenshot to prove it really happened

 

In all seriousness, I actually just got the inquiry response and it was the generic one stating that no timeframe could be given and they'll get to it when they can. Disappointing it wasn't even one of the ones that inspire a bit of hope. I don't understand why they won't just adjust the inquiry times to something more realistic because they must be getting inundated with requests and nobody's getting anything of value.

Submitted an outside processing time inquiry on Nov 17, and this is the response I received "Thank you for your request: USCIS will review and process the request Expect a reply by December 9, 2021"

Does this mean they will make a decision on our case on December 9th?

Thanks! 

No, this means that you should expect a reply to your inquiry by that date. Eventually, this will likely be the generic reply that many people have been receiving that states that basically they cannot give a particular time frame on when they will review your case. I also received this response from them after sending an inquiry at the end of October.

So, did they respond to your inquiry within the time-frame? I just wanted to know if I'm going to hear back from them by Dec 9.

No problem! Yes, I sent the inquiry on October 26 and was told to expect a reply by November 17. I received their reply on November 4.
