VISA got approved today, but we need to wait 9 weeks for a tuberculosis test result done in Bogota

I think you mean interview approval.  Congratulations!

The visa itself can't be approved until after the medical (including sputum culture test) has been cleared.  Hopefully it will turn out well.

No problem.  Now just hope for radio silence from the clinic and the consulate until after 9 weeks.  No news = good news, when it comes to sputum culture testing.

Yes, cant wait.

Hi, our case was approved by USCIS on April 27th 2022 and after that no update! Could anyone share the next step? I tried calling NVC at 603-334-0700 but it says phone assistance is down!

You can file a public inquiry on their website somewhere, but that is taking 1-2 months

You wont recieve an email from nvc unprompted until your case is in transit. So not hearing back means your case is probably still sitting at nvc.

Hi @slavakii how long does it takes to get a response after submitting an RFE as requested by USCIS . Thanks

Hi! Seems to vary based on what they asked for. From what I've seen here, it can take up to two months, particularly if it's questioning the two-year meeting requirement. There's still many RFEs waiting to be reviewed; I think the main March chart tracks those, too.

Hello Everyone,

Our K1 case is ready at Adu Dhabi, UAE embassy since April 13, but the consular hasn't sent me the instruction email to schedule an appointment. I contact them via email twice and thier response was "Please note that we will send you some information as soon as we receive your file." Has anyone been in this situation before? What should I do?

Thanks!

Try calling the embassy to confirm if the packet/email was already sent. Also, maybe double check your mail to ensure you didn’t miss it. Honestly, my fiance and I didn’t wait to receive instructions from our embassy (Lagos, Nigeria) even though it says to wait. We filled the DS 160 and scheduled the interview as soon as our case status changed to ready. He then called the embassy to inform them that we completed these steps and they emailed the instructions during that call. Our embassy had no issue with us doing that and other Lagos couples did the same. Not saying it’ll fly at UAE but just sharing what we did. Again, I suggest calling to actually speak with someone instead of email.

Which consulate in India did you process K1 visa? Our NOA1 date is June 24, 2021. Waiting for approval.
