Hi All,

This afternoon numbers. Not End of Day, but should be pretty close:

57000 - 0 (=)
57500 - 1 Approval (+1), 1 RFE (+1)
58000 - 0 (=)
58500 - 0 (=)
59000 - 1 Approval (+1), 1 Other (+1)
59500 - 0 (=)
60000 - 3 Approvals (+2), 1 RFE (=)
60500 - 0 (=)
61000 - 0 (=)
61500 - 0 (=)
62000 - 3 Approvals (+2)
62500 - 1 Approval (+1)
63000 - 1 Approval (+1)
63500 - 0 (=)
64000 - 0 (=)
64500 - 1 Approval (+1)
65000 - 0 (=)
65500 - 3 Approvals (+2)
66000 - 1 Approval (+1)
66500 - 1 Approval (+1)
67000 - 1 Approval (+1)
67500 - 0 (=)
68000 - 6 Approvals (+2)
68500 - 2 Approvals (+1)
69000 - 1 RFE (+1)
69500 - 1 Approval, 1 RFE (+1)

26 Approvals (16 new), 4 RFEs (3 new) and 1 Withdrawal (new) so far, for a total of 31. I would consider this a positive day overall with these numbers. The fact they are working on new cases is positive and means we are not yet forgotten.

It will come! As we are both approaching 13 months, we have to remain hopeful.

Last few weeks a lot of the activity was around approvals of cases that had RFE, but now it seems they are working more on untouched cases. Your group has 10 left. An Officer will return to those cases and finish them.

Are you eligible to submit an inquiry now?

Hello March filers, I'm a May filer, hoping things speed up! Quick question, may be a dumb one too, when you list the following
57500 -
58000 -
58500 -
59000 -
59500 -

Are there 500 K1 visas needing approval between each one, or is this for ID purposes or other visas included too? Thank you!

It is not K1 visas only, its a mixture of other types. I'm not sure which but at least 7-8. There are roughly, ~3,000-~4,000 I-129F applications filed for each month.

Hi DanElst,

This grouping of 500 is because the tool we use to track only does searches of 500 cases at a time.

Each 500 block has different types of visas & forms, but here we only report on K1s (I-129F).

You can see on the spreadsheet on the link below how many cases there are in each group (column H for Total):

Why do you guys think some cases get left behind? Like the cases from Feb and very early March that have yet to be looked at. I wonder if the USCIS somehow flagged them as fraudulent and leaves them behind

Holy #######, that is unbelievable. I haven’t heard of anyone on these forms that’s been waiting for such a long time for any action on their case. We’re you able to file an ‘outside of normal processing time’ for your case?

No. If that was the case we would see a larger share of denials and RFEs on the cases left behind when they eventually get decided, which we don't.

If I had to guess, those cases were just allocated to worse Officers. It just happens in every organization with work like this.

If I had to bet, another contributing factor would be Management Reports. You most likely have a manager or a team leader and a team handling this, and their work must be reported every few weeks, once a month to Senior Management. They have to report on production, and most definetely where they are, which in this case would be the month.

I would be convinced that they moved into April because they wanted to report they were now working on April with just a "few" leftovers from March. That makes the cases from March less of a priority to Officers.

But who knows. Since transparency is zero, which is my biggest complaint about this process, all we can do is guess and wait, unfortunately.
