My stomach is in knots as I write the afternoon update for today. What is happening in Ukraine is unspeakable and the fact that I am powerless to do more than watch in disgust is crippling me.

It looks like things will be hard in Kyiv tonight, I am so sorry for those of you with people in the country, my heart is with you.

Very similar to yesterday. Let's hope for a second half of the day better than what we had yesterday. Happy to see an approval in my group!

Many thanks dalindeck. Essentially, everything that came in the afternoon was either an RFE or Other Action. No approvals. Very disappointin, we finish this week weaker than the previous 2 weeks prior.

Does anyone here who was following Dec 2020/Jan 2021 filers know approximately how long it would normally take to finish a months-worth of approvals? I know March has been unprecedented, but I'm just trying to understand what is considered "back to normal" for how much USCIS should be approving per week. Last week was the best in a while where it had made it back up to 400+ per week, but that still seems low. I'll give this week a pass since Monday was a holiday.

Im am Aos B2filler but i stay on this group and april one to see any updates. Sent my I130 in march got approved and sent the rest in april, biometrics in july, got Ead in november and “ready to be scheduled for an interview” since july. Hanging in there……..we were about to send it in 2020 but the pandemic started and money were tight so we had to wait. Should i say my hometown is on the border w ukraine and my parents are there. My stress level is over 100%

This week was subpar to say the least but I’ll take it compared to the 30-50 cases per day average we had in January. Praying for faster processing going forward as the processing center gets into the year.

For everyone with families in Ukraine, my prayers are with you and your families. I can’t possibly imagine what you guys are going thru.

Hi All,

I just run the numbers again to see if we had further work done in the night. We had an additional 8 RFEs late in the evening. Not a lot and clearly a predominance of RFEs.

What I also notice is an increasing numbers of RFE responses in relation to March filers. That may naturally be a partial reason for the slowdown, as Officers have to revisit those cases.

Another thing that I noticed while looking the numbers and data is that we still do not have any group without cases untouched. All groups have at least a couple of cases either not approved, denied or with RFE.

Also, there was a case approved today. We may see a couple more if someone is working, but wouldn't count excessively on that.

Each is a range of 500 that include I129F and other case types so 57000 means 57000-57499. Just the I129F #s are reported. Same division is also on the chart.

Update: Got my green card in the mail today, I’m so happy and relieved 😌

Thanks for your replies.

P.S. We did AOS from B1/B2 actually (but we also had an approved K1 awaiting interview back home when I traveled to the US for a vacation but lockdowns made things complicated in my country and decided to adjust status here). I emailed our congressman last October regarding having my EAD expedited because I’m a healthcare worker, and this may have contributed too to the waived interview? I could only guess.

The updates in this thread would not be relevant to you as this is for K1 I-129F filers.  The appropriate sub-forum for your case would be -- https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/138-adjustment-of-status-case-filing-and-progress-reports/

Possibly this thread -- https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/760836-march-filer-receipt-notice/
