Seeing us all here gathering and thinking what we can all do to speed up the process, has been the most reliving feeling since three months. Because when we all put our hands together, things will definitely get better. This is what I believe.

Let's do something so our voice can be heard, no one will know how our hearts are broken unless we talk.

I agree with you!  July filer here

September filer here. The scary thing is that every month is taking them around two months to process it. By that time it might take them till January 2023 to start with September. If they only processed 50-100 cases per day, definitely the timeline will be updated soon to 14-16 months!

This is the most important comment in these 99 pages.

This community is great at tracking USCIS efficiency. But what is it all for? Why do we come here daily? Is the knowledge of how bad the situation is actually helpful?

I would feel guilty to disappear once I get my approval. I would like to see every member who has commented so far, plus all the future heart broken filers (april, may june, july...) do something more effective.

I'm really tired of refreshing the chart. Now what can we collectively do.

Exactly. You know, all of us found our way to VJ because we want to know the truth - and that’s what all our efforts have been concentrated in. All our charts, groups, etc., we have more information organized in better ways than USCIS themselves most definitely.

While the charts will never be able to tell me when my approval will come, it does let me sleep easier at night, knowing something more each and every day. People that don’t know of VJ think they’re working on April and forgot about their case, or still on February and will never move on. I could never fathom that level of ignorance, regardless of the adage claiming it’s bliss.

As a side note (and to confirm the above suspicion), it does seem like the number may be artificially down today because of the system having issues. I needed to call USCIS before (very helpful on the phone btw) and there were problems loading information. I presume the systems are being tricky this afternoon.

And then an explosion of processed cases next week that will artificially make them appear efficient, lol.

Or they could've all taken the afternoon off, lol. We'll see. Monday cases did come through super late, so if it's a system issue perhaps the same will happen again. Or, we may see cases come through on the weekend, as has happened occasionally. It would be really sad if we didn't break 20, though, as that means we won't have even done 400 this week. Yes that's a huge uptick from earlier this month, but we had a real shot at a 700-case-week at the beginning there.

I know what you said before about skipping groups, but wow, that’s wholly ridiculous that there’s been such little movement in 640 and 645. I expect nothing more at this point, but I can’t even say I’m surprised they just “happened” to skip 200 filers like that. Lol

You are in the correct forum. You belong in March. You can also make an "outside of normal processing" inquiry with USCIS if you have not done so.

I think it's important to recognize that, while today was a bit disappointing, we have gotten our hopes super high this week. And I'm pretty sure if we were told any time in the past 4 months we'd get a week with 425 cases, we'd be ecstatic. If we are back to the old system of Monday/Tuesday being huge processing and the rest of the week being a bit slower, well, we still have a lot to be thankful for. It seems like they will cover all of March soon, but continue to pick off each group's remaining cases until the end. We knocked almost 25% of the remaining cases off this week. We got this. :)

...but yeah also I would totally not be opposed to having all 100+ cases next Tuesday be in a certain two groups in particular ;)

Hello fellow March 2021 filers,

We finally got the NOA2 approval (February 18, 2022) after 350 days (see my updated timeline),

https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=386517

I had waited submitting the "Outside Normal Processing Time" till Dec. 19, 2021, which was when USCIS started on the March 2021 caseloads, instead of submitting the inquiry at the first opportunity back in November 2021. And I'm not sure if that helped or hurt our case?

https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/758635-march-2021-k1-i-129f-filers/?do=findComment&comment=10599580

Had we not received the NOA2 by Mar. 8, 2022, (within the 45 business days in the inquiry response), my next tactic would have been to notify my US senator:

https://www.ossoff.senate.gov/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/USCIS-Privacy-Release-Form.pdf

In retrospect to help future I-129F applicants going forward, if I was to start an I-129F application today or in the future, I would also apply for the Global Entry program in conjunction with the I-129F.

https://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/global-entry/how-apply

The rational is that USCIS, US Customs and Border Protection, and TSA, are all under the Department of Homeland Security. Going thru the Global Entry application and interview process would put me (the US petitioner) into the Department of the Homeland Security system with fingerprinting, background check, etc. My hypothesis is that sometimes in the near future, all these Homeland Security systems will be integrated at some point, which might expedite the process for any branch of the Homeland Security as long as you are cleared without being a potential threat. Having a cleared status for the US petitioner is essentially 1/3 of the USCIS work in the I-129F process, with the other 2/3 checking the beneficiary status and proof of on-going relationship (at least that is my guess). And I'm also guessing that an integrated process with AI may expedite many of the USCIS processes? Then again, USCIS is not paid for expediting the process?

So good luck to everyone still waiting for NOA2, as I still have my own battles with NVC and the US consulates coming up.
