Receipt date of 3/17/21 … still no approval or RFE, anyone else filed before or after have a decision?

Nobody after. I-129F averaging 10-12 months now, currently some March 8th filers are getting approvals but there are a hefty amount of early March filers yet to get a notice. We’ve got a big month on our hands - there’s 900 filers between you and the current block, 1600 between you and those yet to receive a response starting from March 1st. Lots of skipping around going on, but we’re keeping the faith over here.

At this point Lawfully, the USCIS estimates, and the VJ estimates are all wrong because of the unprecedented slowdown, so just keep watch here. We’re all hoping and praying today marks the back to normal we’ve wanted for so long.

Any updates anywhere? I've been refreshing and see nothing thus far for any visa type. Are they working today?

Edit: Nope, they've moved ahead - one approval just came in for the 620xxx group, the first in almost a month. Interesting!

New edit - two more approvals just rolled in for the 630xxx category. They're pushing late into March, these are the March 15th group! I have no idea what's happening that caused this, but yes, they are working, and they're about to surprise a lot of people!

Also, approval in the 635xxx group came in at very end of day last Thursday. Didn't catch that one.

I’m really hoping we see some action in the 5901x range soon. There’s a group of cases from March 4th that have been untouched for awhile now. Frustrating watching all of the cases around us have movement but not us 😔

You guys just got three approvals, so don't worry! :) As did a 645xxx filer. March 1 - 18th are all now fair game.

I’m hoping for the 59500-60000 group. I am kind of starting to feel forgotten, lol.

Can anyone please share a link where you guys are checking these approvals daily so i don't have to bother you and ask for updates all the time?

There is an app called Case Tracker that I am using to scan blocks, but I am not sure if there's a better way out there to limit it to cases approved on certain days or not.

Here is the link to the March chart. It’s updated daily and has both a daily running total (on tab 2) and the most recent date for approvals per 500 block. It’s updated each night sometime after 5pm California time once all the ranges have been run through case tracker.

So I got a response back to my second inquiry which I spoke to a USCIS representative, and got this totally bogus response.

The status of this service request is:

On 12/20/2021, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I-129F to request a case status. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved:

Your I-129F is within current processing times.

It's totally out of processing time according to your processing time website!

I too just got a response to my second inquiry. My NOA1 date is March 4th. I'm heartbroken because it seems like after over 10 months, they still didn't even look at my case yet.

Here's the generic response that I got.

On 12/20/2021, you or your representative contacted U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) about your I-129F because you believe your case is outside normal processing times. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Thank you for your inquiry. We recognize your interest in the final adjudication of your pending application/petition and are aware of the difficulties caused by any delay in processing. We regret we are not able to give you a timeframe for when we will review your case but the California Service Center is committed to processing this workload. We will be making every effort to adjudicate your case in the most efficient manner based on our available resources. We appreciate your patience and understanding."

Hello Everybody, March 5, 2021 NOA1 here.

Dec. 19, 2021, I filed the 1st inquiry for "Outside Normal Processing Times", and got back:

"Thank you for your request:
USCIS will review and process the request.
Your request ID number is XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
"

Jan. 3, 2022, I received the inquiry response:

"The status of this service request is:

On 12/19/2021, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I-129F to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved:

We regret we are unable to provide you with a specific completion date at this time.  Your case is currently with an officer for adjudication. You should receive a notice of action* within 45 business days.

*A notice of action may be in the form of an Approval Notice, Denial Notice, Transfer Notice, Request for Evidence, or Notice of Intent to Deny.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.
"

So at least they gave me a range of 45 business days for notice of action?

45 business days takes it to Mar. 8, 2022, including MLK Day and President's Day holidays, which will be over 1 year wait for NOA2? Don't know if this helps anyone with expectations?

Your case is currently being adjudicated. We will mail you a notice of action* when we make a decision.

*A notice of action may be in a form of Approval Notice, Denial Notice, Transfer Notice, Request for Evidence, or Notice of Intent to Deny.

Hope we get some movement on our cases soon!

Usually, if it's currently with an officer, it will be adjudicated fairly quickly; most people with your inquiry response got an update shortly thereafter, and the number was either 30, 45, or 90 days. It appears to be random. But nonetheless, that puts it squarely within the 10-12 months I've believed these are taking now.
