Can I use my husband's checkbook to send the payment? I am a joint owner on the account but my name is not on the check.

If so, do I sign it or does he? ANd what info did you guys put in the memo?

Any tips on organizing and assembly?

Have your husband sign it so that the signature matches the name printed on the check. Don’t give them any reason to reject the check—why risk it?

Thank you.

When including pictures of driver licenses and  debit /credit cards, do they want both front and back? or just front side?

What about passports? do they want all the pages? or just the bio page?

Our joint bank account statement doesn't have any transactions on it as we use our credit cards. WIll they want to see transactions on the bank account?

Driver licenses -  the front will do.

Credit cards - it depends. Some CCs have name and numbers on the back. Mine does so I sent front and back.

Passport -  I didn't submit this in our I 751 case.

Bank account statements - they are going to want to see activities on the bank statements. Your CCs bill... they withdraw money from your bank right? You can highlight it to indicate that.

Well the time has finally arrived! Best of luck to everyone! So we finally mailed our packet on 3/17/21, should arrive at the Arizona facility on Saturday, March 20.  I'm thankful for this group already, look forward to everyone's post and timeline for sure. We used USPS, Priority box, and are paying for the application with usps money order which we attached to documents.

I sent the paperwork and check to USCIS. USPS tracking stated that it arrived March 8 (two weeks ago). I still haven't received a confirmation mail, nor have they deposited/cashed the personal check. Is this timing normal, especially with COVID?

Yes, it's normal. It now takes 4-5 weeks for them to cash your check and 8-10 weeks for 18-month extension (both estimates are on average and since the date your package got there).

Hi 👋🏻 I was able to file on 2/28 (90 days before greencard expires on 5/29), but sent my I-751 in one day later on 3/1 just to be safe. The next day I received snail mail from USCIS stating it’s time to file my I-751 with a stamp dated 3/2.

I’m worrying a little as I still haven’t received an email/text confirming receipt of my package... how long did it take others to receive their text/email notification? Thanks
