I will go back to my guess that this is all to just cover the fact that Cuomo was such a bad governor, but the majority of the MSM were propping him up to be a saint as compared to Trump.  Heck, the woke Trump hating crowd even gave him an Emmy even though he was killing a lot of older people in his state, but in the words of another great elite (at least in their own mind) politicians, "what difference does it make".

The Democratic governor’s approval rating has sunk to its lowest point in the Siena College poll since taking office in 2011, with only 43% of New York registered voters having a favorable view of him, however. That’s down from 56% in February and a high of 77% reached last year during the early days of the coronavirus pandemic, according to the poll.

I think you'll find that Democrats are still quite loudly calling for his resignation. That there are any people who still support him shows how deeply ingrained misogyny is in our culture. Of course these women are lying, right? That's what we always hear, again and again. I tend to believe women who speak out, as a woman who has chosen to keep my own counsel. It involves far more bravery than I have -- I don't think I could handle dragging my abuser's name through the mud, even though he's not even one hundredth as powerful as Cuomo. Not every woman's story is true, but I have a fairly decent bullpucky detector, I've found. To me, these women's stories sound true, and they have been backed up in more than a few cases (with photographic evidence in one case).

I do hope that the next time a Republican politician faces allegations of sexual bullying, that there's a similarly full-throated call for his (and yes, it's almost always a "his") resignation. I don't pick sides when it comes to this sort of behavior.

We all know what the Dems would do if this was one of theoir opponents, they and the MSM would be screaming from the top of their lungs, obviously there has been some coverage but not the same extent.

 

Here it is one of their own, I think we have another one added to the list, and some mumbling but no action. All sorts of things they could do but the reality is that this was seen as a stick to beat others.

You must be reading different news, the Democrats control the legislature in NY and have removed almost all of his powers while the process plays out. 

 

Remind us again how the Republicans ditched Trump after the access hollywood tape and   other assault allegations came to light.
