I'm reading the website. Please be kind because I'm truly confused so telling me to read the instructions isnt helpful.... Does my joint sponsor need to submit birth certificate and photo id as well?

He will need to upload a proof of citizenship or LPR and proof of residence (address). In my case we sent Birth certificate (because they don't have passport) and Driver's license

But, you see, the answer to that question IS clearly stated in the instructions.  The US Citizen Petitioner needs to become an A-Student of the I-864 instructions.  If they don't, then they will have no idea what to ask questions about.

What the joint sponsor needs to submit varies with their circumstances.  Study the instructions.
