And yet this information was sequestered under the last administration.

Sequestered, how? I mean everyone that knows anything about the KSA knows that MBS ordered this killing. Simply because nothing gets done in KSA without his approval because he is running the say to day operations of the kingdom. While his father may still be King he has effectively handed everything over to his son and he stays the figurehead of the country for the time being until he abdicated (highly unlikely) or does. Which then MBS will take over because he is the designated heir.

Only in Western Media was this "covered up" while Aljazeera has been saying it for years now with receipts

No, it was not covered up by Western media. It was a WaPo journalist who was killed.

Trump and Pompeo purposely threw doubt on the story.

“Our intelligence agencies continue to assess all information, but it could very well be that the Crown Prince had knowledge of this tragic event — maybe he did and maybe he didn’t!” Trump added, again using the exclamation point. “That being said, we may never know all of the facts surrounding the murder of Mr. Jamal Khashoggi. In any case, our relationship is with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”

He was a freelance journalist for the WaPo that frequently hung around the Muslim Brotherhood and was a critic of the House of Saud.

I mean it was clear from the beginning that it was the Saudis that did it. Which of course has to have approval by MBS for something this high risk. I mean they freaking took the bone saw through customs when they arrived in Istanbul so of course it was them. But if you think we are going to damage our international relationship in a critical region of the world for one person you must be crazy. I really suggest you step away from MSNBC and read more International news.

Your point was that Western Media didn't cover it. The issue was all over the media I read, including  the NYT an WaPo

Where did I state this? The relationship was damaged, by the Saudi behavior and enabled by Trump.

Publishing the report helps clear the air between the countries and allows us to move forward without propagating the lie.

Do you really think the Saudis would have not done this if anyone else was occupying the WH?
