Greetings,

I have a question. I came to U.S on a Visit visa B1/B2 on September for my official trip. I had meetings with few organisations in U.S and Canada. After the U.S meetings, I applied for the Canadian visa in New york , but the wait times are super long and in nov those were 92 days.

but my meetings in Toronto were in December Mid 2020. So I had to cancel it.

So i visited my fiance in NJ in december and we spent Christmas togather.  we did our wedding planning togather which was about to happen in Oct 2021 in Pakistan.

in the meanwhile I was there in January, her parents had mixed thoughts about their trip for going to Pakistan for the wedding in upcoming Oct21 due to covid situation and their pre existing health conditions. It was quite challenging situation and I had to ask my parents like if I can get married here. (We both were got engaged in April 2018, and used to see her during every official trip of mine to U.S - I normally visit U.S twice or thrice a year). Also me and my fiance also thought that we cant stay apart more. We got married on feb 5th.

Now we both as couple decided to apply for AOS

Question 1: we had a very simple court wedding, with 4,5 people from family. We are planning a Wedding Reception in Oct 2021 in the U.S. Can I apply for my parents to come and visit us for the wedding reception (Im their eldest son)?

Question 2: What are the chances for them to get a visiting visa, and who should send them the invitation, me or my wife?

Question 3: My parents are both working individuals in their 50's and work in Government department?

Question 4: What can my parents put in their visa applications related to mine status (non-immigrant status, or other, or LPR - I m confused) ? Since my application will be pending for AOS

If your wife’s parents don’t think it safe for your wife to travel to Pakistan why would you think it safer for your older parents to travel to the US given both countries are Level 4 Travel warnings? It would still be safer for y’all to go there since you’re at lower risk...

1. Tourist visa - applied for by them.
2. Slim to average for country, depends on their assets and ties to Pakistan

3. Better than not employed

4. They have two family members to list, Your wife as USC Daughter in-law and You (son) Resident Alien, AOS from B2 via marriage
