Proclamation lifted. Will Montreal consulate start Family based interviews again?

After Document Qualify at NVC through CEAC in July 2019 , you got interview in March 2020. It’s to long waiting after DQ.

It was for us. We're F3. Not sure how different it is for other visa types.

Well hopefully you don't have to wait too long to get an interview. But that was our wait time before covid and proclamation backlogs. Everything took forever.

I also sent them an email asking if they were scheduling DV 2021. Will keep you posted. Their website hasn't been updated in over a month now...

So this was posted on the US government website about how they're going to process visas now that the proclamation is lifted. Looks like they might start booking interviews at the consulates in April.

I'm not sure how you would be able to find out how many people there are waiting. No update from the consulate yet.

 

But there was this update today by US government. Sounds like they want immigration visas effected by the proclamation to start getting interviews in April
