I-134 question

Hi,

I'm currently waiting for my I-130 and K3 petitions to get approved. I am starting to fill out my I-134 for my spouse and had a question on item #9 in the form - previously submitted affidavits. I had submitted an affidavit of support for my my sister about 4-5 yrs back when she had applied for her visitor's visa. She never got the visa. My question is - since her visa was never approved, do I still need to include her name in item #9?

I would think that since her visa was never granted, you were and are under no obligation as a sponsor to her, and so your sponsorship application would be void. So I would say you could write in NONE to previously submitted affidavits.

However maybe some other learned VJ members would like to comment...?

Put what they are asking! They do have a data base! May not catch it but if they do you will be in trouble!
