N400 multiple travel outside USA

Hello VJ members,

I am an airline pilot and travel out of country all the time. Also, one of the perks is cheap travel so we've been on many trips abroad in the last 4 years. When I was filing out the N400 I wanted to quickly get the form filled out. I thought I could come back and edit it with all the travel dates. Well, it seems the form can't be modified and looking though my passport it seems unlikely I will get it right anyway.

I've tried the CBP website but that doesn't work. None of my trips have never been over 1 year limitation for green card holders. Is there anything I can do? Maybe a affidavit that I've been unable to document my travel dates because of the extent of travel I've been doing and that at no point was I out of the country for more than a year at a time.

Any advice would be helpful

Wondering if you meet the requirement to naturalise.

I know a friend of mine who is also a pilot is charged $1.50 per flight so that route plus presumably the flights show up on line through your account.

Just checking that you are aware of the physical presence and continuous residence requirements as well -  it is not just a case of not having been out for more than a year. And, precisely because of these requirements, you will need to have the exact dates of travel detailed. They will not be able to calculate physical presence without them.

It should be fine. US is your "home", being a pilot does not change that. Truck drivers that go to Mexico or Canada are in the same boat. What is important is be present in US at least half of the statutory period (1.5 or 2.5 years).

And they need the dates of travel to determine if those periods have been met.

Thanks for all the replies. I'll dig deep into my memory (Good thing we've got photo documentation to assist) and write down the dates. You think it's sufficient to bring this along to the interview and if asked present it or just give it to them straight away?

Most of the overnights are under 24 hours. It's the 20+ vacations :)

Doesn't work  "No record found for traveler."

It's linked to your passport number, so if you've recently changed it, try it with your old passport.

I sort of assumed it was the vacations with at least one of them being nearly a year?

I think maybe the website has stopped working for LPRs (it was never really supposed to in the first place), I have seen a good number of people say they have been unable to retrieve  records - including my husband when we looked there some weeks back to update for his n400 interview (we had used the online i94 to fill out the form originally) - same thing, no record.

My apologies for the out-of-date information, you're absolutely correct, it no longer seems to work. I just tried my passport details which worked fine around a year ago.

In the absence of I94 information, I'd go through my email history, meticulously extracting the dates from there.
