Hello, I've finished the interview on 9/10/19, they asked for additional sponsorship and kept our passports. We've submitted the required documents in October 2019. It's now over one year without an answer. Every time we email them, they say they are still processing. Any advice for this?

Thank you!

We submitted everything they requested back in October of 2019, well before the Proclamation was passed.

So you should probably get your visas fairly soon after they reopen - even if everything was submitted before the proclamation, if AP was not completed before it then the visa could not be issued during the ban period. Be prepared that you will need to redo medicals for visas to be issued (you may need to submit new DS260s too).

Some in the affected categories have reported getting interviews but still not being able to enter the US until after March 31 (or maybe earlier if Biden ends it):

They had an interview already, waiting for AP to clear.
