USCIS updates with new processing time for I-130 for all Service Centers

Hi folks,

As I was checking https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ for I-130, all service centers have updated their processing time and most of them have increased processing time by almost double. E.g. Nebraska used to show 6-8 months before for Permanent Resident filing for spouse but now it shows 12 months to 15.5 months.

It seems like long way for most of I-130 filers. And also my online I-130 shows my file is in Nebraska whereas when I got the I-979 letter, it has Potmac Service center on the front stamp.  Any idea why would it show 2 different addresses?

I think it goes by what you see on the letter

And does it matter if you are filing as green card or USC? I'm a green card and filed I-130 for my spouse.

These averages change all the time. Sometimes for the better but sometimes not. Check again next month.

If I'm reading you correctly, you are saying that the Receipt Notice (in PDF) posted to your myUSCIS account says Nebraska Service Center, but the paper notice that you received in the mail says Potomac, correct?

@Nanna_lux is saying that Potomac is likely the correct one, but if you want to be sure you could contact USCIS and ask them to verify this.

If you are a permanent resident filing for a spouse then those are the processing times that apply to you. But keep in mind, as was mentioned, that processing times can change and not all cases are equal - some take more time, some take less.

I'm not looking at the website but "a permanent resident filing" is not a petition for a spouse visa.  You're using a confusing term.  What is the actual title of the table you are reading?

I also saw this today and has upset me and my spouse that they doubled the time frame for processing  we are apart as it is and they were just coming up on our date before they changed this I feel it is unfair to double the time. We are also at Nebraska  processing  center to.

He's right though. This is the table showing the processing times of form I-130 for NSC.

Are you or your spouse a US citizen? If yes, they didn't really double it. It shows 5-7 months

Sorry I mean I'm a Permanent Resident filing I-130 for my spouse who is abroad. It shows 12-16 Months. My N-400 has been pending for 13 months now, but once I get my citizenship I plan to upgrade my petition from F2-A to IR-1.

I show 2-7 months for relative at Nebraska on the i-130.

I believe you go by the address on the lower left of the I-797C. My file also says Nebraska but the 797 says Texas.
