Has anyone in this thread received their NVC number? ....

it’s been 23days since our Approval ,we haven’t received our NVC number yet ?

 

yes my NOA2 is 18 march, NVC received my case 12 april they told me when i call Nvc +1 (603) 334-0888 then i call them after 3 days hold on about 18 min, i got my case number. As your case you should wait until 30 days. Call nvc best time is early hours of work or late.

Yes you can call as a beneficiary like me from your country and the remaining is as @JojoandTomas told you CALL NVC +1 (603) 334-0888 best time is early hours like 7:00 & 8:00 or late evening 9:00.

 You will need the receipt number for your case (numbers that begins with WAC), petitioners name and date of birth and beneficiary name and date of birth

I just called and got my case number and invoice number also, thanks! Received it on Apr 14.

 

Does NVC send a formal acknowledgment in the mail or email at all?

No, Nvc will only send you email when your case is in transit or they forwarded to your embassy.

Hey all. My case has been sent to the embassy and now I need to change embassy location. Do you think I should fill out the DS160 while waiting or wait for it to go to the correct embassy or does this make no difference?

Hello guys everyone who has been  approved in March 2021 and you haven’t got your NVC case number ,pleas call them and get it they have it already.

 I have just called NVC, it put me on hold for 25minutes and they gave me my case number.

We were approved on the 26th of March 2021

I was approved 5 days after you, so I will definitely be contacting NVC as soon as possible.

@Sharmarine yes you should contact them like on the 30th of April be ready with your case number your fiancé’s name and date of birth plus yours too

Expedite approved and case is now Ready at the embassy!

I called on Tuesday and got our Case and Invoice numbers. I called once around 3pm and was automatically hung up on when I queued to speak to someone but called again 10 minutes later and got someone on the phone in about 5 minutes.

We submitted the DS-160 and now I suppose we just... wait... always more waiting 😕

It does make a difference.

Getting them to move it from one embassy to another is a mission. Have you been able to make the transfer? I am having problems with changing the location of the embassy

@notnuanced how many Invoice Numbers did they give you ...Cz I called them on Wednesday they picked me up after 25minutes and give me our case number and an ID number that’s all
