Hi everyone! I'm just a little confused. The NVC status checker is telling me it's "In Transit" and that they sent me my interview date. I didn't receive it anywhere. I read some posts here saying that the K-1 applicant schedules the appointment but I'm not sure. The papers are at the Embassy now according to DHL.

Does it say that they sent you the interview date or that the embassy will contact you for the interview date? There's really only 3 standard messages shown at that point: At NVC, In Transit, or Ready

I got my NVC case # April 6 but I’m still waiting on the embassy to review my expedite request. I hope they’ll approve it and NVC will send my case over for the interview!

How did you expedite? I heard K1 was already expedited.   Thank you in advance. :)

You just email the NVC with your reason and evidence to support your hardship. They will review and if you’re approved, they will send your case to the embassy for the interview.

Thank you, SM.  Due to our current climate, there is a good reason.  Emailed NVC.

My NVC status updated to Ready.

However, my fiance falls under the Schengen Ban.

I thought the consulate wasn't processing appointments. Anyone know what the hell is going on?

How many days it took from In transit to Ready?

Hi! I have a question how do you know the documents are at Embassy when it says in Transit?

Thankyou
