What is the "CEAC confirmation page"?

Tomorrow I have my medical examination before my CR1 interview.

The embassy writes: "Please bring the CEAC confirmation page together with this email and your passport / travel document to the doctor's office"

 

####### is this "CEAC confirmation page" and how would it look?

It's the confirmation page when you book your interview appointment. It shows your picture, name etc and barcode. Here's an example.

I have never received something like this!

I received a plain e-mail from my embassy saying:

Your interview is scheduled for Monday 01 March at 10:30 AM. Please confirm this date. [...]

 

I confirmed this date via email and got as a response (again, plain via email, directly from the embassy):

 

Quote

thank you for your email. Your appointment is confirmed.

 

Of course, nothing in https://ceac.state.gov/IV to be found about interview (or I am blind)

 

Nothing else.

Now what?

 

EDIT: Your answer also relates to a non-immigrant application and DS-160. For green card, we need DS-260.

I did not get any confirmation about my DS-260 but I was fortunate enough to print it when I submitted. It contains a similra barcode. But that was way before any interview was scheduled and has nothing to do with the interview.

This is the page displayed with a bar code after paying IV fees in CEAC. There was also a download option if I remember well.
