Estimated wait & completion Time

Hi everyone! I'm just curious to know if your wait time & completion time was accurate on your case?

 

I had my biometrics done on 1/25 and the wait time is stating 5 months and completion time Sept. 2021. I am planning to travel in a few months that's why I am curious to find out if this is very accurate. My location is Reno, NV

Seems as though things are starting to speed up, so timelines are shortening. There's a combination of 2 factors at play, with covid restrictions starting to relax, more processors are working than were last year. Also, USCIS have received directives from the White House to try an find ways to speed up the N-400 process (biometrics re-use, oath same day as interview)

Most of the times they aren't and sounds quite random with no use. Interestingly your situation is similar to me. I've applied in Las Vegas, NV on December 17th, 2020 and completion time is Sep. 2021 and wait time 4 months and planning to travel in April or May although no biometrics yet and hope they don't schedule it during my travel or reuse it. If I'm not wrong, I assume, you applied in January from your biometrics though.

I applied July 2020 and didn't have any update until December. Will it affect the process if I continue on my plan to travel?

As you already got your biometrics, I assume the next step would be interview which although is quite different based off offices and applicants, but think from what seen and read in this forum and executive order to USCIS for speeding up the process, wouldn't be far for you and you might hear about it in the next couple of weeks. But again this is my thoughts and there are people waiting for theirs even for like 2-3 months.
