*URGENT * AOS Denied because of error

we were waiting for the arrival of our letter for the Interview for the AOS, last time I checked the website it said that the interview is ready to be scheduled and that the letter will be mailed. We kept waiting for the letter, and this morning a letter of denial arrived. It said we were denied because we failed to appear at the Interview, but we never received the Interview letter. What should we do next? the letter said if it is an error, to file to reopen the case? or should I contact my Senator or Representative, I read someplace to schedule an infopass appointment. I am worried  and stressed out we have a 3 month old  I do not want my husband to get deported because of an error. pleas eif someone can help me figure out what I need to do.

Send a letter to the local office with a copy of the denial letter and a letter explaining you never received it.

 

Also Call USCIS so they have it in the records.
