Receipt Number for I-129F

I filed my I-129F a month ago along with the G-1145 for correspondence through email and have not received my Receipt Number.  I called the number provided on the internet but unless you have the receipt number you can not talk to a human and the automated system hangs up on you.  The packet was received by USCIS in Texas as my Tracking number was verified and signed by an individual that received my packet.

Is there anything I can do or someone I can talk to at USCIS, to get an Idea of when my Receipt will arrive or some sort of status for my application?

OK.  Thank you.  I wasn't sure I read 1-3 weeks on the internet so was getting a little concerned.

I wouldn't hold your breath for your NOA1 this month. It seems unlikely. I hope you get it sooner rather than later, but I would prepare yourself for later. Keep holding on!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for next month.  End of March will make it 2 months

I hope so too! I'm part of a Facebook group where I've seen people who've been waiting like three months (I think that was the most I've seen people waiting) - it's crazy! Crossing my fingers for you as well.

Thank you!  I dont mind waiting if I have the receipt number but not knowing is the hardest part as you can imagine.

I filed my petition with the form for electronic notification of receipt at the lockbox in Lewisville TX in Dec 2020. My package was received on Dec 29. Still no receipt. Check still not cashed. Like others on this thread, I’ve called to no avail (need a receipt number to check status) and sent an email to USCIS. Still nothing. And now the winter storm in TX (as if we needed more crises to further collapse our already collapsed systems). I’ll post here with updates as I have them so others can deduce likely timeframes.

Question: does anyone know when embassies will begin processing visas? And if there’s any centralized plan to start doing so via online platforms (video interviews, etc)? Like others, I’m very concerned about the backlog downstream after my case moves through USCIS. The US embassy in Bogotá has very little information on their website and they stopped processing visas back in MARCH!
