Hi all, my interview is coming up. It's based on three years of marriage. What will they normally ask during the interview? If this question have been asked before, I apologize, maybe you can link me to specific threads or guides about this?

Now to study up for the civic test!

My wife told me the IO basically just focused on the information on the N400 form to make sure it was truthful and accurate.  Then the English and Civics tests.  Beyond that, there wasn't much more.  Now this might have been due to the fact that my wife and I had a joint I751 interview immediately prior to my wife's N400 interview, but even in that interview where I was present, the IO did not go into any real relationship questions.  That being said, every IO is different, and every applicant is different so who knows what the IO will ask, or what they will focus on.

Good Luck!

Hi! Thanks for replying. For the n400 interview portion, did you need any of the supporting documents with you at all? I'm just wondering if I need to bring copies of everything I've submitted to the interview, plus some more recent ones. I doubted they needed it, but I'm just paranoid.

My wife took copies of all the information requested for the interview.  I don't believe the IO looked at any of it, but better to be safe than sorry with a potential RFE.
