I remember someone posting about this a couple of days ago (forget who it was or which thread it was in) and he/she said your biometrics appointment is at an Application Support Center whereas your AOS interview is at your local office. The two "offices" may be in the same building for some areas, but not for all.

Although sometimes an ASC will be co-located with a DO or SO there are two separate USCIS facilities in Phildelphia - an ASC and a DO - and they are not at the same location.
