? about being TDY

My K-1 Visa has been sent in but I am overseas TDY for 4 months. I called the customer service number and they said I didnt have to change my address being that it wasnt permanent. I do have someone checking my mail. My question is... When something like the NA01 comes in the mail do I need to be there to sign for it or does it show up in a regular package or one that needs to be signed like fedex? Also, the guy checking my mail has told me he recieved a reciept saying the check has been cleared. I have not heard of anyone else talking about this and wondered if there was anything I needed to do after recieving this. I of course havent been able to read it myself being that im not there to recieve the mail. Thanks in advance.

My stuff always came back regular USPS mail and I never had to sign for anything.

no signatures are required for USCIS....even not when they send out the greencard.

Also a piggyback question, one that ive seen alot going through all the post but never see the answer. Is the I-797C the same as the NOA1? That is what the guy told me who is getting my mail said it was. Also, I like many others have look at the processing dates and it now says for the I-129f that it is processing dec 14, 2006, will I like everyone else be waiting a good 6-7 months for it to be looked at or is that dates that when they filed it is now finished with. Thanks again.
