Side note, I don’t know how to add my adjustment of status to my timeline. I get a message that AOS, EAD, AP are not needed for the EB-2 visa type I selected.

We have our interview date! October 7th. We had silence for so long from USCIS, then biometrics this month and that got the ball rolling.

I had my Biometrics August 10th and I still haven't received my EAD. Should I contact USCIS support?

You can try to request an expedite but most likely you won't get an EAD and just get the GC after the interview.  My wife had her bio 11 June and has her interview 29 Sep.  San Antonio FO.

Ok, thank you. My case was updated August 24th to say that interview is ready to be scheduled and that notice will be sent in the mail yet I still haven't received that notice? How long was it between your status being updated and you receiving the notice in the mail?

Seems there aren't any set rules on statuses. Right after bio, 11 June, ours changed to actively being reviewed.  The on 20 August interview scheduled and it arrived 8 days later.

Apparently my husband's combo card is on its way... three weeks before the interview. Thanks, USCIS, I guess?

Sweet. So is the combo card a green card or is it just like a green card only different?

It's the EAD/AP card because both were approved. I assume it's still a combo card -- when I went through this with my ex (K1), it was a combo EAD/AP. And then when the green card is approved, the combo card is superseded by that. We didn't ask for the EAD to be expedited because my husband is here on a work visa already, but I guess in that circumstance you'd get the EAD card and AP separately when approved. Technically he didn't need to apply for either, but we had no idea how long AOS was going to take, and his visa is up at the very end of next year. We didn't want him to be stuck without the ability to work and travel.

Friends got theirs this morning, pink card all about EAD but on bottom says serves as AP.

Tomorrow it will have been a month since my i-485 status was changed to "Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview" and I still haven't received a notice in the mail. Should I be worried?
