Duplicate packet is always encouraged.  If I can remember, I included signature upon delivery.

I have duplicates saved on the computer and page by page scanned thank goodness so I know how everything was on the original packet! Only thing that sucks is one of our certified marriage certificates is in there too :(

We sent my husbands AOS packet last Thursday (the 11th) and it left the Salt Lake Distribution center and on the 15th it updated as “in transit”

no details on the location whatsoever.
It was supposed to to arrive yesterday.

Has this happened to anyone else lately?

Do not worry. We sent ours on the 11th and it arrived yesterday with  1 day delay due to the weather. We got the same delay message from USPS.

Stay calm and and enjoy the snow. LOL

Good luck

Thank you! We forgot our e notification form unfortunately on our application. Did it show it arriving to the Chicago distribution center or did it go directly to “delivered” on the status?

Or did you find out via text from uscis that they received it?

I hope we are as lucky!

It showed “arriving at the USPS Chicago distribution center” then status changed “arrived at Chicago post office “ then finally to “delivered” with name of the person who signed. We choose the priority mail with signature delivery option

Again, let’s stay positive and get ready for the next steps

Good luck

I never got the status updated to delivered, last year in April. I called and raised a ticket, nothing happened. But a lady at the USPS customer service did tell that usually the USCIS personnel picks up and for whatever reason the system doesn't get updated. We suddenly got messages about our financial institution being charged for all the fee (in about 5 days). USPS still did not update anything. As of now, I have my conditional card in hand, and I am sure the USPS status hasn't changed.

Just have some patience. If you have all the paperwork and correct versions of the forms , hopefully you will get good news, despite whatever USPS tells you. Wishing you good luck with the step one.

I have heard that happening from time to time :) I’ve been good to keep an eye on my account every other day to look for activity. Thanks! Hopefully our package gets in the hands of the USCIS soon!

Well even the marriage certificates can be purchased again, but still a pain.  When I have my wife apply for removal of conditions, definitely making a copy of the whole packet before sending!

We have a copy... another day without hearing anything 🥲

So another day with no movement on that status. starting to panic a little because his i94 expires next week 😭
Should we just print out all the forms again and overnight it with fedex a day before it expires? I thought that we had plenty of time sending it two weeks ahead. But apparently not.

I know the frustration!  Well even if the I94 expires it's ok.  There have been couples who wait months and months, and even years to file AOS.  The best thing you can do is to go to the post office directly with the tracking number and ask them what's going on.  Hopefully they have a good answer.

I went on Wednesday of last week and they stated that it probably is just waiting to get on a plane. I am hoping to hear something by Monday! Our I-693 is only good until the 23rd of next month so I definitely hope we see some movement by then.

Thank you. I will continue to update. I'm surprised that I'm the only one having issues with USPS on this forum. This seems to be a really widespread problem with the mail system at the moment.

No movement on our package. I don’t know what to do other than to send another one in via UPS. I don’t know if it’s going to be the same stuff. It’s not moving! At all! 😭 after a week.
I keep reading about people receiving stuff these days from clear back in December.
We have our i-693 that will EXPIRE on March 23rd so it might be 400 dollars down the drain for NOTHING.

I am really at odds and lost as in what the heck to do.

I’m just regathering all the evidence all over again.
