Totally depends on who picks up your package at USCIS. What some applicants get away with, other don't. For that reason I decided not to take any chances and sent copies of every single bank statement of our joint checking account since the day I was added to my US citizen husband's account. Same with our joint credit cards and money markets - every single statement.

Our whole package was about 2 inches thick and fitted perfectly in a USPS priority box. I was approved in 1 year, no RFE, no interview.

Thanks for all the responses.  Seems like most people did not submit every month, but some people do.

I assume everyone printed everything single sided?

And for phone bills did you include every single sheet (including the call lists) or just the beginning pages?

I guess I have to start putting things together and decide what I feel is best.  Thank you.

I see no reason to include all your calls.  They are not interested in who you called.  They want evidence that you are together.  If you want to include cell phone bills, I suggest sending the page which shows both names on the same account, living at the same address......and I would send only a couple.

Bank accounts are quality evidence because they show you are sharing financial assets as well as normal household expenses.

I sent all bank statements for every month that I didn't submit for my AOS application (along with other documents like house deed, 401k/investment accounts with my wife added as beneficiary, etc.). I know the IO will not look at all of the documents, but I rather be safe than be sorry. I didn't send any affidavits or pictures. My case was approved in 2019 with no RFE or interview.

My application package was over 4 inches thick lol.

I recommend quarterly statements as well. Definetly quality over quantity and it depends on your own circumstances. My case has been fairly simple and straightforward from day 1 and so I took the chance of not sending too much stuff. I got away with not sending any evidence to USCIS except affidavits but I wouldn't suggest the same for others. Try to send a bunch of different types of evidence that shows continuity...E.g  I sent the first bank statement that showed same address and that they were joint and then quarterly statements showed consistency in how we used them- to pay bills, buy grocery, buy tickets for our vacation etc. Think strategically.

Good luck!
