I filed I-130 for my parents who are currently in US on visitor visa. I am working to file I-1485 in parallel. There is a question about Receipt No of Underlying Petition.

I presume the petition would be I-130 in this case ? I had received an email with the receipt number but i cannot tell which one is the "receipt" no. Any suggestions ? Below is the info listed in the email i had received.

Application Name: USCIS I-130
Pay.Gov Tracking ID: XXXX
Agency Tracking ID: XXXXX
Transaction Type: Credit Card
Transaction Amount: $535.00
Payment Date: Feb 06, 2021
Transaction Date: Feb 06, 2021 09:25:05 AM
Your payment was applied to the following case(s):
        XXXXXXXXX

hi

you should have filed and adjustment of status package for each of them, parents petitions are filed separately. an i130 by itself will do nothing

you have to file 2 of each, one package for each parent

all forms are filed together, unless they plan to leave and wait in their country, and go through consular processing

I had filed I-130 online - one for each of my parents. I had read somewhere that after filing I-130 online they filed for I-485 via mail after a month or so which is also considered concurrent filling.

Yes, so I will be filing two of I-485 package: one for each parent.

Sorry, not sure if i follow your answer as to what the receipt number would be ?

Okay, i was looking my.uscisc.gov under "case status" and noticed the Receipt number field. It is the "case number" from my first email.

I will use that for the receipt number in the I-485 form.
