Document questions for wifes K1 visa adjustment of status interview

Hello, my wifes interview was just scheduled for Match 16th and I wanted to be absolutely sure that I fully understand everything we need to bring. The ones i've highlighted are the one's I'm iffy about

  • I-693 ; I'm not 100% sure if we need to re-do the vaccines part of this or not. We submitted her application well within a year of doing the original I-693 in her home country so I know the physical examination is covered.
  • I-864 ; Can we use the old I-864 that we submitted with the original K1 application or do we need to provide an updated one?
  • Documentation establishing your eligibility for Lawful permanent Resident status ; i'm not exactly sure what stuff would fall under this category?
  • Any immigration-related documents ever issued (basically just hoarded everything we ever got from USCIS so that's covered)
  • All travel documents she used to enter the U.S. (that would be her K1 visa, her passport, and a copy of her I-94 so that's covered)
  • Her birth certificate is covered
  • All of my documents for her K1 eligibility are covered.

During K-1:

1) Vaccination related - that's covered by DS-3025 during K-1 stage, not I-693. So, was her DS-3025 marked 'completed'? If not, she's likely to need a transcription of the DS-3025 onto an I-693 and completing any missing required vaccines.

2) Affidavit of support - that's covered by I-134 during K-1 stage, not I-864. I believe the minimum annual income requirement is different for both I-134 and I-864. You may want to fill out an I-864 if it was not already included in the AOS package.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

So we never received a copy of her DS-3025 everything was just dumped into the closed folder and we submitted that to the border agent when she came here, however we never had any issues along the way with any of our documentation when we were doing the K1

Well, unless she had a copy of the DS-3025, there's no way for you guys to know if it was marked 'completed' now. Having said that, she might just need to wait and see what the interviewer say at the AOS interview.

And don't forget an I-864 if it was never part of the AOS package. Bring the tax transcripts for the last 3 years to be attached to the I-864 😉

You'll need these: Form I-94 Arrival-Departure Record (See Form I-94 Arrival-Departure Record in the General Instructions
section of these Instructions) and your Marriage Certificate. We also brought our I-797 and my husband's passport with the K1 visa stamp.
