Hello,

My wife is getting her B2 Visa soon. With COVID, I have heard that she will need to accompany me on the same airline flight when entering the country. Is this the case now a days? I have found no such thing online the Embassy's or Visa Travel website. Is it okay for her to come into the country on her own? I am a US Citizen but do not live in the USA.

FYI The couple I heard this from said that the spouse needed to travel with him at the same time. She holds a Canadian Passport. He is a US Citizen.

Thank you

No such requirement, however, people from certain countries may only enter the US if they are included in a very limited set of  people, including being a spouse of a USC and she may need proof of that if she is living in an affected country. Where is she from? And does she actually have an appointment for a B visa - asking as most embassies are closed for B issuance though a handful seem to be issuing.
