Hi all,

We are preparing for when we get an interview with the embassy in Auckland and we’re wondering whether we can just have the latest tax transcript as the supporting evidence for form I-134.

There are a few different posts saying just tax transcript is fine and others saying to bring 3 years tax transcript and employment letter and W-2 and bank statements.

 Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks everyone

When I went in for my wife's interview, they only saw my latest tax transcript along with the I-134.  But, I went ahead brought the last 3 years of transcripts, along with my W-2s and my employment letter.  Nothing wrong with being a little more prepared than needed.

What do the specific instructions from the consulate indicate?

YMMV

Thanks @Ed&Midori1031 great advice.

@payxibka, the consulate is Auckland in New Zealand. I checked out the website but there are no specific instructions. I did check Japan and the Phillipines and their embassy sites have a whole lot more info about what they need as supporting evidence with the I-134 which didn’t help hahaha.

Just because they are not online doesn't mean they don't have instructions.   Often times instructions are emailed along with other requirements after the petition is in country

YMMV

Thanks @payxibka!! I did look through the P3 for Auckland in the New Zealand sub forum and all it said was to provide I-134 with supporting evidence without explicitly naming what supporting evidence is required.

If you want specifics then its best to find a fellow kiwi who has already gone before you with the same visa.  Looking at information from other consulate may or may be the same.  I am unaware of any consulate requiring 3 years tax, most consulates care about current income only.

(3 years tax information is typically for self employed individuals )

YMMV

Thank you so much @payxibka for taking the time and helping out!!

IIRC, we provided a couple of years worth of tax transcripts as well as like 6 months of payslips.  No employer letter.  My income was well above the FPL, so we did not need a joint sponsor or anything.

Auckland is not a difficult consulate when it comes to K-1 interviews.

Isnt that for ammo?

I concur.  Tax info + proof of ongoing current income.  Paystubs with matching bank statements, nice and tracable.
